First of all, I'm super excited you'll be back at Gen Con this year. It's a blast for sure. Second of all, I'm taking your "not touching people" tactic. I get sick at Gen Con every year and with classes starting on Monday I just can't deal with it this year. Third, if you haven't played "We Didn't Playtest This at All," you're missing out. It's a card game, not a board game, but it gets more fun the larger the group you have.

Another thing congoers want to make sure to respect is the 5-3-1 rule. You're running around like crazy trying to get in all the stuff you want to do while the con's still going and you forget to take care of yourself. Respecting the 5-3-1 rule will help you keep yourself feeling better. The 5-3-1 rule is pretty simple: Five hours of sleep, three meals, and one shower. Every day. Though I admit that I generally fudge it a little and do more like 4-2-1. The shower is NON-NEGOTIABLE, though.

Gen Con this year was orders of magnitude better than last year. I played a pickup game of Vampire: the Masquerade where the ST never even got to roll to attack. And that was BEFORE you signed my dice bag!
