Sue, It is our backporch sunroom, and we havent put the window in the transom above the door yet. Its not the first time weve had birds in there, but a first for bluebirds. Vicki

Thanks Shelly. I think youre right, it is a polyphemus moth, and I remember reading your post now. The link you provided is amazing - showing the close-up pictures of the big green guy eating a leaf. I hope this one survives too.

Oh, don't worry about that Sue. I didn't think you were rude. We're drying out now. Fortunately we didn't have any major problems like some people, but I saw on the news that we had 15-20 inches of rain over the past week. On Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 3:53 AM, wrote:

Yeah, Shelly's experiencing the same storm as us, as she lives in the next town over from me. Maybe we'll just go over and jump on Shelly's ark. On Mon, Sep 21, 2009 at 6:32 PM, wrote:

The chicken pen turned into a river too! It's been flowing constantly for days, and we're getting pretty concerned about erosion. On Sun, Sep 20, 2009 at 10:54 PM, wrote:

Reminds me of July of '94 when it rained EVERY day. I only remember that because my oldest son was born at the end of June and that was a very memorable time. There was a tropical storm camped out over Georgia at that time. After that we had 5 years of drought. On Sun, Sep 20, 2009 at 11:06 PM, wrote:

Jessica, Wow! I have a bread maker too and use it on occasion, but I never thought of making all of my own bread. I guess I would need to get a loaf pan, and I'll give it a try. Thanks. On Fri, Sep 18, 2009 at 10:27 PM, wrote:
