Have fun getting through the TSA screeners with your dice; I was flying back from Origins a few years ago and the Columbus TSA's x-ray machines noticed what they thought to be something suspicious in my backpack... turned out it was the two dicebags that I have filled with dice that they were concerned about. I had to dump BOTH bags to prove what they were and I said to them, "Expect a bunch more of these when the other gamers fly out tonight and tomorrow, too." Have fun gaming at Origins! :)

It could be Mike Franks, but one other person it could be is Fornell; I'd hate for either one of them to die but Fornell and Gibbs are also close which makes him a target also.
Would love to win this since I am a huge NCIS fan and board game player! My girlfriend and I watch it all the time on USA Network as well as CBS. I am currently taking a Group Communications class in college and our group has to run a themed workshop for a project, which I am pushing NCIS as the workshop theme... if it goes through, since I am the group's expert on NCIS, I would get to pretend to be Gibbs.
I love NCIS so much and I am a HUGE gamer. I got my girlfriend hooked on NCIS and we always make time on Tuesday nights to watch the new episodes and watch as much as possible on the replays on USA Network. I even follow Gibbs' Rules. I hope that I get a chance to win... it would be a huge honor to do so.
I wish that I could go, even though I just saw you at Phoenix Comicon... I used to run a lot of events at GenCon (mostly Spycraft events, but have also worked the exhibit hall running CCG demos for different companies) and I always enjoyed GenCon. If you get a chance, head to The Ram bar & restaurant; the owner is a huge gamer and truly loves all the people coming in for GenCon. The first year that GenCon was in Indy, The Ram was the only place that had the foresight to order extra food supplies... every other restaurant in the area ran out of food by Friday. Have fun in Indy, and roll some Chtulhu Dice for me. Ashes to ashes, DJ Pheonyx

I will have to check it out sometime since the Derby Dames are somewhat local to me (probably a 30-40 minute drive to their events). Glad you had a great time.

I'm not gonna lie to you, Marge (see what I did there? hehe)... it's those little things in life like a simple walk, a random snippet of conversation, even just something you have seen traveling from point A to point B that can spark a creative piece into existence. This post is a perfect example of that process. It is not something to fear or regret but rather to embrace, and to be honest it is something I personally need to embrace more as a writer myself. Thank you for sharing this with all of us and hopefully this will inspire others to just absorb the world around them and draw from all those experiences when they write. Ashes to ashes, DJ Pheonyx

I enjoyed the Awesome Hour, and it was definitely aptly named. Glad to see the videos of Wil Wheaton Rock Band since a couple of the previous events running late prevented me from attending. I look forward to seeing you next year and hopefully I can be lucky enough to get up on stage with you. Ashes to ashes, DJ Pheonyx The Cape Radio http://www.thecaperadio.com

I had a wonderful time at the Phoenix Comicon, and it was an honor meeting you and actually getting to ask you questions at several of your panels. I felt like an idiot when I met you Thursday night and went to shake your hand and you reminded me about the PAX Plague and we did a fistbump instead... I apologize for that. I loved during the panel for The Guild when you talked about Red Dead Redemption and accidentally shooting your horse... I think you broke Felicia Day's brain when you said that. I also shouldn't have waited until Sunday to try and get one of your books... should have figured they'd sell out quick. Thank you for coming out and I hope to meet you again sometime. That was a wonderful interview with Felicia Day... it is great to hear that you both have so much fun doing The Guild (although she does most of the heavy lifting ;) ) and both of your insights on how things work in the acting field were very educational. You may want to check out http://www.randomizer.org for the contest selection. You can have it generate a number between 1 and however many contest entries that you get for the giveaway.

Please feel free to forward me a copy of that white paper when you have it ready :) It is always good to see where you've been and seen how much you have changed and grown in the interim. More people should be open to change and new experiences, embracing them in the hopes that they will better enrich what has transpired in their lives. You have done that and have prospered as a person because of that. Be proud in that knowledge and always continue to change and grow. Looking forward to getting a chance to see you at Phoenix Comicon... and I so hope to get a chance to be part of Wil Wheaton Rock Band. As for the AZ immigration stuff, I am, during the course of the con, going to ignore the fact that the state legislature often breaks Wheaton's Law and just have fun with all the people I get to meet. Glad to hear that you had such fun. One of these days I will make it to a W00tstock event, because it will be one of those "bucket list" events that must be experienced once before you "kick the bucket". Screw the Super Bowl or the Stanley Cup, W00tstock is the event to be at :) Ashes to ashes, DJ Pheonyx The Cape Radio http://www.thecaperadio.com

I watched "The Wheaton Recurrence" and I have to say this: Evil Wil Wheaton takes Wheaton's Law, stomps on it, then relieves himself on it for good measure, even moreso than during the card game. I applaud you for your fantastic work on this episode... you actually had me HATING Evil Wil Wheaton for what he did to Penny and Leonard and wanted to (to reference another fine CBS show, NCIS) "Gibbs slap" the living crap out of him. Eliciting that kind of emotional response from an audience is what actors want in their performances, and you delivered a grand slam in that respect. One little side note: I geeked out at the guy in the background wearing the red City of Heroes Statesman logo shirt during the bowling alley scenes... I play that MMORPG regularly. I remember in my youth at the softball fields where my father's company had a weekend softball league team, collecting the empty glass bottles of soft drinks and beer (I lived in a state which used to pay you for returned bottles) and going to the field's snack shop to get quarters to play the pinball machines. One week, they had a strange cabinet next to the pinball machines entitled simply "Pong". I fell in love with video games then as I pumped quarter after quarter into that game. A while later, my father bought me a Sears brand home Pong game for Christmas. Shortly thereafter, a little machine known as the Atari 2600 appeared, and we got a hold of one. I have played or owned every game system that has ever been created, except one... the Vectrex. To me, that is the Holy Grail of video gaming. If you ever seen the film "The Bucket List" you will understand this, but playing or owning a Vectrex is on my own personal Bucket List. When I saw the picture of the man and his son playing the Vectrex, it brought a tear to my eye because I thought of my father (who passed on years ago) and how he would sit and play that Sears Pong TV game with me. If and when I do get to play a Vectrex, it would be more than a gamer geek moment, but an honor to even have that opportunity, and in my heart my father would be sitting next to me playing it with me. That sounds like you will have a ton of fun with that role, and I am going to enjoy every minute of it. Enjoy Vancouver if you get the chance to, depending on your shooting schedule of course. Ashes to ashes, DJ Pheonyx The Cape Radio http://www.thecaperadio.com

I think that Trolololo is going to be the next RickRoll... you, Paul & Storm did great with that bit. It's sad that I wasn't able to go, but I have the chance to meet up with you at Phoenix Comicon. That bit was truly, truly epic :) Ashes to ashes, DJ Pheonyx http://www.thecaperadio.com

This is a great post, very inspirational... and explains what I've been doing wrong. I have been auditioning for a spot on a local American Idol-esque televised show called Lucky Break here in Phoenix. I keep seeing it as an audition, not what it should be: my way to make people happy. I am going to take this advice to heart, definitely.
