I think what this shows is that over the long term, Search as we know it is broken. The only way out will be "hybrid curation" -- basically back to the Yahoo model at the highest level -- with algorithmic results (ala Google) into the depths of the curated high level web sites. Amazon is a great place to research products even if you don't shop there because there is curation and great reviews. [dc]
