So I know "Likes" are pretty important to you guys getting another season (something I am very invested in having happen) so I make it a point to go to YouTube and Like everything associated with Tabletop (and to be perfectly honest, all of Geek and Sundry because it's such awesome content.) But I'm wondering if I should put just as much diligence into liking all the Tabletop posts on FB and favoriting on Twitter. Do those numbers count as well? Because I will like them ALL. ALL THE LIKES. :)

My stress dreams usually involve showing up for a class I am supposed to teach and not knowing the material for the course or where the room is for the class or what school I am supposed to be teaching at. (I have four teaching jobs - my schedule can get confusing.) My guess is ST:TNG was on your mind because of the Calgary panel and that is why your "stress" took this form. I am curious if writing about it helped you relax/process the feelings. That usually helps me a lot.

I'm so excited that there is a Munchkin episode in the future! I was hoping that would be one game you would play. Yesterday, we watched all three episodes you have up so far back to back and then all the interviews and outtakes. One of the best Sunday mornings I've had in a long, long time. :)

This was truly moving, Wil. Thank you for posting.

I cannot wait to watch this show! It's my mission as well to de-stigmatize gaming and gamers. Really, we are cool, smart, engaging and fun people who shower on a regular basis and hold down steady jobs. What's so weird about that?!?!?!?!

My guess, after watching this video, that playing Rock Band at your house must be AWESOME. Love the dance moves and the Beiber line the best!

As is so often the case, you've nailed this perfectly. I find when I go long enough without gaming my skin starts to itch and I have this incessant need to get together with people and play. For my Ph.D. graduation party, we gamed for over 12 hours - card games, dice games, board games, Rock Band, and Kinect dancing and sports. It was glorious. When oh when will Games Matter be out for the Kindle? I really *need* to read it. I'm working on turning my dissertation into a book and I'd love to have more material of yours to quote. :)

This was just great! I love the smart kid logic - “It’s like when it’s cloudy, and you can’t see the moon, but it sort of glows behind the clouds, so you know it’s there.” And you really do capture her voice well. :-)

I've read the Fireworks story on your blog and in Just a Geek and it's still an awesome read. But more importantly with this post: thanks for the reminder that you have to write to, well, write. I started a personal blog while I was working on my dissertation and I where lots of people working on a project like that would say that was wasting my writing time, having a place to just get my thoughts out was vital to completing the bigger project. I've been avoiding writing in the last month or so just from burnout but I think it's time to get going again and your post today helped me get there. So yeah... thanks. :-)

YOU CAN DO IT! I needed as many cheerleaders as possible (I defended in April) so I hope this helps some. :-)

I think the running late on deadlines thing is in the air. Or perhaps the universe since I'm in the PNW and not exactly sharing your air but I am certainly behind on a million things I have to do over the next few days. I have faith we'll both (all?) get it done. :-)
