I was born almost exactly a year later than you, so many of these memory references (chocolate chip mint ice cream, the games ...) opened up a lot of memories for me, too. I lived two blocks from the city's largest outdoor swimming pool - right at the beach - and I pretty much lived in it, diving for pennies, rocks, and anything else that would sink. *smile*
