LT-? LG-Franklin (he'd be playing right tackle now if he had the quickness for it) C-Want to see Gunn but maybe Horn RG-Figs/Gunn RT-J.Johnson/Washington Don't know now. It will play out and we'll be OK. With or without Linder.

Washington? No that is news to me. What game?

I meant: Give me, please, someone with technique. Period. I am tired of potential talent on the O line! (Stoutland?)

4. Though he is very good technique wise, he is not the most talented lineman even in this class. His upside is lower I believe than some others. Give me someone with technique... I'm tired of talent on the O-line? In the history of the Miami Hurricanes we had what?... Bryant McKinnie with talent. Everyone else had hustle. Stoutland and Pannunzio... seats getting warmer, IMO. Washington at center? Did I read that wrong?

Cane fan up in Illinois...if your still free from the star police. Manny says he could come in and start at left tackle but why does espn have him at #2 center? He's a baller, definite starter anywhere on the line but don't rocking chair worry if we don't get him. Ben Jones is a redshirt sophomore next year at left. Horn or Gunn will bring more muscle to the center position as well. If he comes...GREAT!!! But we are done worrying about getting recruits. Same thing with that Shaw guy. Stars are one thing but right now I trust Hurtt and The Randy in judging whats between the ears. With the depth we have at most positions, whats between the ears is more important than getting the fleeting headline on Nat'l Signing Day. Vault that ish!

Do we have a link to watch the Miami highlights vs Virginia??? Posted by: Montreal-Cane | November 08, 2009 at 09:19 PM Search back to around 2 am. I think its Hurriphin with a link to the punt return but then you can look at other highlights. Rusty on youtube, something like that.

I just read Jacory's comments on the little scrape he got into with the VA kid. "Sometimes that stuff is just for show. What you really want is for somebody to come and hold you back." PURE GOLD Posted by: Hurriphin | November 08, 2009 at 08:45 AM Love seeing that. Jacory is something special. How come if someone says Jacory has a weak arm we say he is young and has time to improve. But Arthur Brown is a bust because he isn't starting yet. Can't he be young and have time to improve as well? He'll figure it out or he won't. I hope he does, he quietly goes about his work. He might end up being an unsung heroe on the team (Kylan Robinson, Tervaris Johnson, etc.). Either way, the numbers of linebackers are coming, wether he is an All American or a bust.

Captain Love your Captain America thing. IMO We have always played conservative defense. Blitzing one or two players doesn't make you a mastermind. It gets back to the players vs. the coach (chicken vs. the egg) debate. Its just my opinion. The great thing is in college football. Being a TRUE leader of young men like The Randy is, might be enough.

Nothing wrong with the dead but jimmys little wing is one of my favorites.

Superstars in the league vs. people in the league. Most coaches will take people in the league. Great, now I got the Dead on the radio.

You mold the scheme around the talent. Unless, I guess, your Miami under Shannon. Then it means you must fit your round peg into a square hole. We are a 4 - 3 defense. Tell the middle linebacker to flow to the ball and kill the guy with the ball. Adjust your scheme to your personell, isn't that coaching?
