Meno - do you mean topless women? I didn't see too much of that, but I think it is because where we stayed isn't as touristy as other beach towns. People really do have a different take on body image over there and it's rather refreshing.

Tim - you're right to give me shit about this. Maybe I've been super culture shocked or something. I want to speak Italian. More deets to follow. How is your vacation?

I know, this was rather pathetic. I will make sure to include photos and vivid details of those in bathing suits. Connected by MOTOBLUR™ on T-Mobile

We went to Italy recently and I have much to share about the adventure. Therefore I'm forcing myself to do it by leaving this generic blog entry. Continue reading

Three full weeks have already passed since I said my final office good byes. I figured the first week would fly by because it would seem more like a vacation than anything else. Heck, after 11 consecutive years of work...... Continue reading

One week has elapsed in my new life as a house husband. This happens to be the title I'm most fond of at this particular time since I'm technically a kept man. Other titles include Man of Leisure, Errand Boy,... Continue reading

the wino - I liked that Gwen didn't hold back on her admission. She's a very special woman and so happy she brings her A game. Not that others don't, she just lives in Switzerland so that makes me jealous.

Lesley - did you get a new job within the same company? Sometimes that can make all the difference in the world. That happened for me way back in 2003. Now, I'm ready to venture out and test the waters.

Sprizee - I'm embracing this news much more than the previous one. I see better things ahead. Lunch?

Well this time it seems official. My nearly nine year run at my current company will come to a screeching halt May 7th, three days after my 37th birthday. This was announced to me last Wednesday at the end of... Continue reading

A wasp in the basement last night. Drips in the kitchen after an intense downpour a couple weeks ago. Water in the basement last fall. Enormous icicles during the snowstorm of 2008. Random centipedes and worms crawling across our basement... Continue reading

I've had some thoughts on my mind about these topics in no specific order. I do own a Toyota and think what's going on with the recall is shameful. I think there's a media hungry for a takedown of Toyota.... Continue reading

Chris - we agree on something, a mutual love for Canada. Fava is a pretty cool Canadian too. The athletes are rather impressive. There are so many different types of athletes in the Winter Olympics from curlers to boarders to the bobsledders. Vancouver is the bomb Chris. So so much to do there and a booming movie scene. Every other movie that isn't porn is filmed in 'couver.

Golden - Seattle isn't too shabby either. What I do prefer about Vancouver is the nightlife, ability to get French radio/TV, Sky Train, its parks, the hotties, restaurants, diversity, and Seymour Street.

I'm moving on. I abruptly published part two of the previous post to get the damn jury duty case out of my mind. These days I've been glued to the Winter Olympics taking place a couple hours north in Vancouver,... Continue reading

Kelwhy - a guess I detached myself from my role as a parent as best as possible for the trial. It factored into things, but I had to be objective. Then again, I don't have older kids.

Meno - it was tough to watch his smirk a few times during some of the more uncomfortable testimony. That didn't settle well with me and I was carefully observing his moves. I think the hope was something got botched as that was the defense's argument in the opening statements.

Churlita - my guess is they hoped there would be a technicality overlooked by the police or a shorter sentence. After watching the video, it was tough to imagine how he couldn't be guilty on the other counts. The things he said to the boy will never escape my head.
