Here is a picture of a couple of heart boxes I created for my grand daughter for Valentine's Day. I filled one up with Organic Rabbit Cheddar crackers and one I filled up with Hershey kisses. I have been so busy trying to find a job and also learning new skills in my field as well as domestically. I took out some time to learn how to make soap and also how to make cheese and now I am working with making my own bread from wheat berries. I have been reading how the food in our grocery stores now is getting to be very bad for us to eat due to GMO's (Genectically modified grains and vegetables), so I decided to try making my own bread and cheese and going to farmer's markets to get produce and meat. The prices are rising drastically in the supermarkets and I tend to shop at BJ's but still the produce, dairy and meat are all so high and I hear that it's only going to get worse. I have been away for tooooo long. Unfortunately, I will continue to be away a little while longer. The workload at work is so tremendous I barely get time to do the basic everyday chores you have to do. I miss designing so much. I have a grand daughter and I have not even been able to do anything for her either and that makes me so sad. Today is the first time I have visited my own website. I was amazed to see that I am still getting visitors. I want to thank everyone for still dropping in. I will be back but probably not until the summer when I hope things settle down for me. I got up this morning and felt like designing for the first time in a long time. This design has two frames, one is a cutaway, the flag, and the other one is a frame to lay on top, the eagle. You can change the color scheme and it creates a different feel from patriotic to masculine. So you could use this for a birthday card as well. Or you can choose to just use the flag cutaway or the Eagle frame. I can see the eagle frame overlaying a mountain scene. I can see someone's name overlaying the flag cutaway. I just posted this on my free gsd and svg pages. My computer crashed and I am not able to cut this out to make sure it cuts fine. I hope it works out for you. I am in the process of getting a new computer. We will see if I can get back to creating again. It has been an upward hill for me. I got sick with a real bad cold as well. The answer to that question is that I am really, really tired. My regular job has been so stressful that it has left me with absolutely nothing in my soul. I have never been this stressed out in all my life. The main reason is that I have been thrust into a situation where I have no control. I am being asked to do things I have never done before or answer questions I don't know the answers to and I have to find out. This is okay when it only happens every now and then. But this happens everyday over and over and over again. You come home so exhausted and drained. I just designed this water lilly design this morning. I have spring fever really bad now. We walked by a pond with dragon flies and water lillies the other evening and I just had to create this. I was trying to get a whispy and airy feeling to the design so I kept it fairly simple. I will be posting this tomorrow night in my free files sections for svg and gsd. I want to wish every mother out there a Happy Mother's Day! I'm back from vacation. I took a longer vacation than I thought. After coming back from vacation and being somewhat rested, It made me realize how much I push myself to get free files out here every week, so I decided to take a break from it for a couple of more weeks. The work load at work is so tough right now and I am not a spring chicken. I did not realize how tired I really was. It takes a fews days off to make you realize that life should not be about all work and no play. This is the longest time in the last three years that I have not designed anything. March Madness is upon us and so I created this cutaway and card topper from a picture I got from the public domain. You can add numbers to the jerseys to personalize it and add your team name or the team you are rooting for. I did not test cut this but it seems like it will cut out okay. I hope so.
