I am a hard core geek and still play D&D with some of my friends from teenage years who are scattered throughout the states (via Fantasy Grounds II + Skype). I never tried WoW mostly because I was afraid I might get addicted to it. :) Wil, did you ever look at the MMORPG Dungeons & Dragons Online? It isn't exactly like pen and paper, but it is similar enough that it doesn't feel foreign. My dad isn't a gamer and my son is too young, but I can totally fantasize about having a father and son team take down a lich. :)
