Oh mama! You've got this. It's such a balance between being present and being optimistic about the weeks and months and years to come. If it helps AT ALL - I was AWFUL at being present those first few weeks I was struggling so much, and it all worked out anyway. However YOU handle this time is OK. :)

yeah, I struggled through the beginning. I think it does get good, but it's not as good (in my opinion as silkworm, the second book) feel free to stop if you're not feeling it. ;)

I read it in 36 hours...couldn't put it down! I really liked it and felt like the ending made sense for the book.

yep. I think it would be worse to the STORY if it was tied up in a neat & happy bow. And agreed. I was manipulated and totally along for the ride. That's exactly how good fiction should be. TAKE ME FOR A RIDE. ;)

I've read dark places. Very good. I heard the ending was bad so the whole time I was trying to think "what would be a bad ending?" when I finally got there I thought, "hmmm, not so bad." ;)
