That sounds like a great way to celebrate spring (and reminds me I'm out of spanish drinking chocolate...)

Oh Amy that jacket is perfectomundo! Could I be looking at the replacement to my favourite navy peacoat after the "I don't need to dry-clean that" learning curb?!

what a brilliant and inspiring interview! From another fine art graduate I can say too that I am very happy to have found "the middle". I love Christine's business plan - one I think I could stick to too!

Wow I LOVE that coat but it would be way beyond my abilities. I'm still hoping to find the time to make a little tartan cape whilst it's still cold enough to wear it! Can I get the power of being organised for Christmas please?

Oh yes I need to make your bisciuts/ my scones sometime soon! There's nothing quite like them just out of the oven. Of course here in Scotland we don't have just one kind of scone but many: girdle scones and tattie scones which are both quite different (the later is delicious with scrambled eggs) but my favourite is a treacle scone which is like your biscuit but made with black treacle. Mmm!

I've rather a penchant for wheaten soda bread with avocados, lemon juice and black pepper and a scraping of butter. It's one of those combos that I get a crazy craving for. And this is what I call 'health food' by the way...

It would have to be the sheepy jumper I had when I was three: undyed, Shetland wool with a raglan sleeve and a simple sheep-shaped pocket on the front, perfect for keeping daisies in. I can still remember how it felt on. The book looks great - I'll have to request it from my library. I'm hoovering up all the good advice I can get as I soldier on with my tuwhittuwhoo etsy shaped adventure!
I'm lucky enough to have TWO tins of those pins in my Mum's sewing basket. One all metal, the other with coloured glass ends. Do yours still have the clipped disc of black sugar paper in the bottom?

Y'know I read the last question and thought - I wish someone would ask me that question! So - without doubt - I'd like to be an OTTER please Amy Karol. But it would have to be a snowy night so I could go tobogganing because that would be the best bit of being otteresque I feel.

Hello Melissa, I've been following your blog for some time now but never had the courage to cheap up before! Happy Birthday to you, and thank you for enthusing me to make my own crafty way in the world.
