In my opinion, the Dolphins should continue to purchase these unsold tickets until they can demonstrate on a consistent basis that they can put a competetive team on the field each week. They are certainly headed in that direction as we speak, but the last 4 weeks is not enough to extinguish the last 10 years. In theory, it truly is a bad business move to buy your own product and then give it away for free. However, it is worse to not let anyone see your product, and then expect it to sell. That's all that this comes down to, are the Dolphins smart enough to keep a disgruntled fan base happy at least on a short term basis, or will they add fuel to the fire and angry the mob even more? P.S. They caused this for themselves, now they have to swallow the consequences. This was a once very proud and respected franchise that they turned into S@!T. The least they can do now is allow us to see if they are changing things around.

Well we did have a pretty good defense last year without a FS and only one decent corner in Davis. This year the defense started out slow, but they've played great the last 6 weeks. That again without top notch talent. I think the next HC has to keep him.

I wouldn't mind that combination as long as they keep Nolan and give him a true FS in the draft. That alone should be enough to win some games!

Ross will never stop, I hate to admit this but I sort of miss Wayne Huizenga :-/

I have thought this for some time now and have posted it on this blog. The problem with the Miami Dolphins is their owner. Nothing but bad decisions and loyalties to his insider buddies, or as our humble moderator states it "disconnect". It starts at the top. I agree with all the reasons previous bloggers have stated about why Ireland should go too. This team needs new ownership, ownership that has a clue as to how to run an NFL team. Period. Being a Dolphin fan for the last 19 years has decreased my life span by at least 20 years!!! This is such BS! I mean come on Ross, get a F'ing clue!!! You want a "Star" Coach, but want to keep Ireland??? If what you want is to win and excite the fans, then FIRE that troll and let all the "Star" coaches out there see that they'll be getting the dream job. No limits to what they can do. God I miss Joe Robbie, Don Shula and Co.

Michael- Thanks a lot for the insight, that has officially cheered me up big time! I know I wasn't crazy to think that team is not as great as it seems by looking at their record. They will be in the playoffs, but they wont get far. At least I hope so....

This team is depressing, I feel bad, very bad for the players...and most importantly us the fans. The players get money, win or loose, us fans just spend it. I'm donating the rest of my season tickets to charity.

Folks- Let's not forget that Tennessee has one of the WORST pass defenses in the league right now. If Penny does great and throws for 2+ TD's. let try and not over react please. Just had to say it, that is all.
