Hi Jamie, Small can be a challenge sometimes depending on the image/font. Since I used a lot of the pre-installed designs I think it gives you a better chance at getting smaller sizes. Also, making sure your paper stays attached well to the mat helps so the blade can move through the paper well. Good luck & happy cutting!!

Hi Mike, You can only use the following file formats in ScanNCutCanvas: .svg .dxf .fcm .jpg .gif .png .bmp Once the image is scanned you can select the area you want deleted (the instructions) and delete it. Hope that helps!

For those of us in Southern California that doesn't mean much change in the weather (although we've FINALLY got some rain!!!), BUT is the perfect reason to add a touch of snow to our homes! This kDIY stacked snowflake wreath is a great way to celebrate the change of the season no matter how cold your weather gets this winter... Continue reading

One of the things I wanted to do while art journaling in my Illustrated Faith Bible is to try different techniques than what I normally do. Now as a former scrapbooker I have a ton of letter stickers and other scrapbook embellishments so I thought, gee, I should really use some of those instead of always doing mixed media... Good to know, thanks! I guess all the people that are showing off what they make with Cricut on social media or selling things with their designs are up a creek too.

Yes you should always respect copyright owner's desires! While I haven't read through Provocraft's TOU recently, you were able to in the past make duplicates of their designs for personal use if you owned the cartridge....so if it was traced & cut by hand by the owner of that cartridge & it was for personal use, it was ok. I'm not sure if that's the case still, but if so then using a machine instead of scissors wouldn't violate it. But you are definitely correct that they are proactive in protecting their stuff. ;)

Hi Peggy, You'd only be able to convert svg files that are digital, not stuck on a cartridge. But you could always scan in a design and save it cut out on the SNC.

I use ScanNCutCanvas with Chrome and don't have problems. I don't use inkscape either. If you email me directly I'll take a look at what you're having problems with and see if I can figure them out.
