Hi Linda, If you'd like Wi-Fi ability, a little larger screen, and the ability to do 12x24 scans/cuts then go with the SNC2. Also, if you purchase it from a Brother dealer they have more preinstalled quilting patterns.

I'm not familiar with that type of paper, but I haven't had any problems cutting anything from tissue paper to leather so I'm guessing it's not a problem. :)

Yep! They have some great ones built into some of the models of machines and then you can always download svg ones or scan some in.
