Yay, after a super hot summer it finally feels like FALL in SoCal! While I don't do a ton of decorating for this season, I do like to add some autumn touches to our front porch to welcome visitors. This project is simple but packs a punch of fall right at your feet... Continue reading

Good to know, thanks! I guess all the people that are showing off what they make with Cricut on social media or selling things with their designs are up a creek too.

Yes you should always respect copyright owner's desires! While I haven't read through Provocraft's TOU recently, you were able to in the past make duplicates of their designs for personal use if you owned the cartridge....so if it was traced & cut by hand by the owner of that cartridge & it was for personal use, it was ok. I'm not sure if that's the case still, but if so then using a machine instead of scissors wouldn't violate it. But you are definitely correct that they are proactive in protecting their stuff. ;)

This 8" x 8" album is perfect for the couple to print out their favorite photos to slip inside and maybe even do a little journaling... Continue reading

Going on family vacations is fun, and scrapbooking about those trips is great...well, except when you do it after you're already home and you've forgotten the fun little things that happened each day. To remedy that, this summer we... Continue reading

Hi Peggy, You'd only be able to convert svg files that are digital, not stuck on a cartridge. But you could always scan in a design and save it cut out on the SNC.

I use ScanNCutCanvas with Chrome and don't have problems. I don't use inkscape either. If you email me directly I'll take a look at what you're having problems with and see if I can figure them out.

As a mixed media artist I love stencils...and I really love to create my own! They are great to use in art journals and on other crafty projects too. Today I'm going to share how I created one of the stencils I used on this mini art journal. Continue reading

I love books! Fact, fiction, crafts...they're all good! Today I'm going to share with you some great new books that I was sent to review. Rest your mind at ease, when I get review books I read them and if I don't like them I don't review them...so these ones passed! :) I'm so glad they did too because the publishers were nice enough to allow me to give a copy away to my readers! ... Awesome idea Dolly! I'm not sure it will work for the plastic stencil materials but I'm definitely going to try it next time...I think it will be really helpful with paper and fabric! Thanks!!

As an impatient crafter I use a few different cutting mats with my ScanNCut® so I don't have to be slowed down by cleaning all the little bits off while I'm working. I'd much rather be crafting along then cleaning stuff (as you can tell by my inked up stamps, painted on stencils, etc. LOL!-) I just don't clean my art stuff unless it's necessary, and cutting mats are one of those necessities! ...
