If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I recently visited the Whatever Craft House in Newton, Kansas for the Creative Soul Camp retreat with Stephanie Ackerman. “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” ‭‭-Philippians‬ ‭4:8‬... You can make an account on ScanNCut Canvasworkspace even if you don't have a machine...try it out and see if you like it!

Yes it works fine with clothing patterns as long as they fit on the mat. (There are 12"×24" mats too.) The blades are awesome for fabric! You can use the ScanNCut with Brother embroidery, but I'm not very familiar with the process, but Cindy Hogan can walk you through it.

I use ScanNCut Canvasworkspace (it's free) and then send it over WiFi using the ScanNCut transfer option.

I do have a separate blade for fabric...but you don't have to. The standard blade cuts both fabric & paper.

ScanNCut2 isn't a printer, so you'd need to print it then cut it or use the "draw" option to draw it instead of printing it.

Use CanvasWorkspace (formerly called ScanNCutCanvas) to import or convert it...or you can print it and then scan it in with your ScanNCut. You can try out CanvasWorkspace even without having a machine. https://canvasworkspace.brother.com/en

This St. Patrick’s Day you can try your luck at catching a leprechaun, and if you’re kind to him you might be able to convince him to share his gold with you! Just remember that leprechauns are very clever, so don’t take your eyes off of him for a minute... Continue reading

Here's a comparison chart: http://m.brother-usa.com/scanncut/product_comparison.aspx For the most part the different versions of ScanNCut2... it's the asscessories it comes with & the type/amount of built in designs that set it apart.

Cutting through plastic laminated cardstock shouldn't be a problem. You could also scan the laminated shape and have it cut a boarder around it, just cutting the laminate.

Happy New Year! This week it's time for me to go back to work and with the new year we all need a new calendar to hang on our wall. This one is great since it’s made using an acrylic sign holder, so you can write on it with dry erase markers this month and then erase it and have a blank slate for February... Continue reading
