So GM-Carson's whipping boy was Hamels last year and it looks like this year it will be Howard.

If you want to get younger, acquiring Mike Cameron isn't the correct move.

Remember when Joe Cowley was railing hard about Werth and couldn't wait for him to leave in the offseason?

That's how you get back at someone for plunking guys.

I'm guessing Fatalotti never saw Field of Dreams with that comment.

Certain posters are become absolute parodies of themselves on this site.

Can someone lecture Sarge that its HALLADAY not Holliday?

Wow, I'm surprised GM-Carson didn't blame it on Hamels.

The Astros believe they can build around Brett Myers and aren't trying to trade him.

Brown was a 20th round pick. I'd say that is pretty good value.

McGwire wasn't that bad of a hitter.

I guess its Milt's fault when the pitcher doesn't get a hit late in a tied game with the bases loaded. He should've worked harder with Blanton!

Will Schweitzer, are you real or are you just putting us all on?

It's funny reading today. On the one hand you have logical, coherent posters arguing the logistics and the pros and cons of these trades. On the other you have posters who spew hatred and anger with no point in place other than to throw negative comment after negative comment.

Will Schweitzer really throws out the insults without knowing what is going to happen huh?

Raise your hand if you are glad Will Schweitzer is not the GM of the Phils.

I didn't realize Ted Lilly was such a strike out pitcher. The Phils are making him look like Randy Johnson.

Nothing like walking the pitcher with the bases loaded.

Yes joe, but it wasn't his call to ship out Lee once the team acquired Doc. So blame him for giving horrible contracts to Ibanez, Baez and Castro, but the team's ownership for not maximizing the assets they had when they had Lee and Doc at the same time.

How long is it going to take people to realize that it wasn't Amaro who decided to ship off Lee, but ownership?

If the Phils are scouting Lee, as has been reported, doesn't that show that Rube's hands were tied by management?
