I'm so sorry that you lost Ferris, Wil, and especially since Anne hasn't been able to be with you for a while. Ferris always sounded like such a great dog, and I loved the story of how she was found and named. It's great that you have Riley with you, she sounds like a sweet dog and I really think she was trying to comfort you by bringing her things.

Let me guess, you got the Bad Horse Chorus? I've been seeing footage of some of their ambushes on YouTube. Brilliant fun! I wish I could go to one of these things, but the Atlantic is sort of in the way.

In case you haven't seen it already - Shaun of the Dead should be watched. Seriously. I don't think I've laughed that much since I saw the South Park movie. Or possibly since I first saw Blackadder.

I'm not sure about the best series in the history of the universe, but to be fair I'm only ten episodes in. I watched the pilot series a while back and was incredibly disappointed that it didn't retain more of the original show (the mythology and Starbuck, if I'm being honest). So now I'm trying to watch it as 'just a science fiction show', and it seems the wait has helped. It's a damn good show, even if it will never really feel like Galactica to me.

It was a disappointment, I'd hoped for a better goodbye than that. I remember sitting in the cinema, with the familiar shiver running down my back as the film started - and then walking out at the end of the film, saying "But...but they...but...WHAT?" I wanted something of the same feeling I got at the end of the TV series - that it was over but at least it was a real goodbye. There wasn't anything of that there.

Raistlin Majere, apparently. I know nothing about Dragonlance, so I've no idea whether to be pleased or insulted.
