Say whatever you want about UM - haven't won anything in a decade, baseball and basketball and swimming and tiddlywinks teams are always losing, program is going to be sanctioned, Al Golden didn't win anything his first year - WHATEVER. I know for most people posting on blogs is fun and games, they actually enjoy arguing with people. It doesn't seem like the length of the investigation is taken into account in the punishment. This has been what, three years? Three seasons of UNC's rivals being able to roast them in recruiting? It's totally unfair that the NCAA is allowed to investigate schools as long as they want to with no kind of timeline and no mitigation in scholarship reduction.

Yea, it's kind of ridiculous to say Al Golden doesn't give kids second chances when the instances that we have the background for (Ray Ray, Seantrel) show that he does. We don't know what Darion Hall's situation was but only the most pessimistic mind would automatically assume Al Golden screwed him over. Shannon's not coming back 'Cool 'Cat, let it go.

I was bummed to see Dallas Crawford move from corner where we're thin to running back where we already have Duke but it sounds like he's going to be used as a receiving back and a slot receiver - perfect role for his skill set! Sorry to see Darion Hall go, hope he lands a scholarship at another university. Agree that it's ridiculous to have any academic requirements for athletes but highly doubt that's the reason UM has been losing for the past decade - we had proportionally higher academic requirements under Tad Foote than we do now.

Are any of the linebackers big enough to play end? I'm guessing not but the front 8 has pretty unbalanced depth.

corpus - wasn't that in the Orange Bowl? If so I was there, pretty sure Florida State got a safety making it whatever OK's score was to two.

Too bad, I wouldn't put it past UM to upset Duke or UNC in one game but I don't like their chances of beating two good ACC teams like BC and UVA in a row. Still, from what I hear they only need to win a game or two in the ACC tournament to have a shot at the big dance and a team with a dominant big like Reggie Johnson can definitely make some noise!

Ugh, hey Gators troll - talking up FSU??? Florida State is your actual football rival, you should be ashamed of yourself for letting your fake internet rivalry overtake what I can only assume was at one point a genuine interest in UF's football program. One thing's for sure, there's no pop gun arms in this year's quarterback competition - Williams or Morris, either one can make the big throws. Glad to hear Reggie Johnson's reinstated, I don't follow UM basketball too closely but apparently they have a shot at the tournament this year - either way I'll be watching in the ACC tournament, I don't think any of the big dogs want to play UM this season!

Ryan Williams is a Miami kid? And Morris had surgery? Awesome! I'm all in on Ryan Williams, hopefully one of those guys steps up and makes it obvious who the starter should be.
