For years I wasn't the praying type. But lots of things have happened over the past few years to slowly change that. This past weekend, I was brought to my knees, however, as my home was ravaged by Mother Nature... Continue reading

It has been nearly four years since we had a family photo done. Considering that I'm always the one behind the camera and never in hardly any photos, I insisted we get another family shot soon. So, we hired the... Continue reading

I recently had the pleasure of doing a session for a long time friend I went to high school with. We reconnected through Facebook and she asked me to do photos of she and her boyfriend and their recently adopted/rescued Malamute, Zeus. So recently, on one very beautiful spring afternoon, we met at a local park and spent a couple of hours capturing the three of them together doing what they like to do best...being out in nature and being active. I had such a great time with them. This week Kelli sent me an email asking if the rescue... Continue reading

My girls sometimes ask me to tell them stories about when their father and I met. Over the years, they've heard the general story of our first meeting and early period of our relationship. The inquiries generally don't go too... Continue reading

I recently had the honor of photographing the Baggett family. Daniel is a member of the National Guard and will be leaving for a year in Iraq in February. His new daughter, Patience, was born right before Christmas during his very brief leave for the holidays. He was home with her just five days before having to return to bootcamp and will not return until later this year or next year. I offered to take photos of him with his family and new daughter before he left and will be taking photos of Patience every couple of months so we... Continue reading
