So I thought I'd talk today about something totally different. I mentioned a few weeks ago about how one of my goals is getting back into exercising. I actually was doing pretty well with it before the holidays hit, but a combination of holiday insanity and getting a nasty cold... Continue reading

(click through photos to see original posts) I've definitely been feeling the need for a little winter style inspiration myself. I am already back to day dreaming about summer, nice warm walks, naps on the beach. Please come quickly. But for now, I thought it would be fun to do... Continue reading

UO Dress + Cardigan // Free People Hat + Necklace // Target Socks // Thrifted Boots We've officially hit that quiet time of year, when fall is far gone, holidays are over, and the world is just cold. At least it is here. Not even a layer of snow to... Continue reading

One thing that has majorly changed since I went to work full time has been my eating habbits. Before, I was making dinner almost every night, and we ate at home for almost all our meals. Now, I'm lucky to be able to eat one meal at home on days... Continue reading

Even though it often feels that New Years goals are cliche and overdone, I still kind of love them! I'm all for making goals and getting starting any time of the year, and New Years goals feel so natural, that I can't count myself out of the millions making new... Continue reading

Hey There! Some of you may have noticed something funky going on over at my usual wesbite address. I won't bore you with the not so fun, and frankly frusting for me, details. In the end, my .com domain name is no longer mine any more, and I've just had... Continue reading

Thanksgiving for my family has mostly always been a pretty casual affair. I love that some families get all dressed up though, and I tend to shoot somewhere in between, personally. Casual, but still something fun and different. Although, I get dressy on a fairly regular basis for work, so... Continue reading

A few random bits of what I've been up to lately... - How is November nearly gone? I can't believe we're only a week from Thanksgiving! I'm so excited though, I get to host Thanksgiving brunch again this year, which I loved doing last year! - Been trying to get... Continue reading

A tipi for the pups has actually been one of those things that's been on my list for a long time. I don't even remember what first sparked the idea (I know ones for kids have been poping up all over the internet for some time, so it may be... Continue reading

Thirfted Shirt + Shoes // Free People Cardigan + Necklace // UO Pants // Target Hat This time of year is always hard for me. I adore fall. Seeing the leaves change to those bright, intense hues is truly incredible every year. But when those leaves actually make their decent... Continue reading

I'm generally someone who stays fairly within her comforts zones when it comes to clothing. I know what I like to wear, and I'll buy it over and over again. A plaid shirt, a white lacey dress, a great black hat. Change from that can seem a little daunting. But... Continue reading

An afternoon spent wandering through the woods, laughing, and looking for a little adventure, is always a favorite way to spend a Sunday. Throw in a campfire, and enough s'mores to make any normal person sick, and you have our lovely day. As soon as I saw the Free People... Continue reading

Hi Stephanie! So sorry, but it was the store's, and only used for the photoshoot. It later sold. Good luck finding one though!!
This was done so log ago I'm not possitive how many coats I did, I think only 2 or 3, but either way it will depend on your own box and also what color your box is and what color your choosing to paint it. There's not a specific amount of time to wait between coats, you just want to make sure the last coat you did is completely dry before doing another. The only part I took out to paint seperately is the tray that sits on the inside, besides that the whole thing stayed together. Nope! spray paint won't hinder something opening. However, I did leave it open while spray painting, and I would recommend doing the same (although you can't get the inside without doing that so that's pretty obvious)
I actually just used a standard needle, however, if you're doing a thicker book with lots of pages you might want to switch the needle to something thicker as well! You can use as many sheets of paper as you like, it's totally up to you. Step one says the size I did mine at, 10x7.5 inches. I beleive I cut the paper just 1/2 in short so it wouldn't peek out when the book was folded over.

Sometimes when I scroll through my blog I find it crazy to think that I've been blogging for over three years now. It's pretty nuts to see all these outfits I've worn over the years. I love to look back and see what outfits I still love, and ones that... Continue reading
