Can I just be totally honest with you here, and share something totally nerdy about myself? I love to pack. I really do. I guess it's the organizer and planner in me, but I love figuring out all the outfits and things I want to bring with me. I usually... Continue reading

Philly, you will always have a special little place in my heart, even if we were to move a million miles away, I'd still love you and think of you often. Especially the food. Oh, the food. Me and my husband have always made our dates about good food. Ever... Continue reading

I am totally giddy, because next week I'm getting to spread my little wings and go on vacation! It's been quite some time since I've taken a real vacation so I'm definitely looking forward to it. I am actually getting to go with my parents and one of my sisters... Continue reading

Oh Liz! I'm so glad you were able to find me again. Unfortunantely I had problems with my old domain registrar and ended up loosing my .com which meant that I wasn't able to inform anyone following me through RSS about having to move my blog over. But I'm so glad you were able to find me again:) Thanks so much for reading!

I've always been a pretty monochromatic girl, with the exception of that hot pink tutu I used to wear as a teen (let's just not talk about that, okay?). Whites? Please. Blacks? of course! Gray? Absolutely. Anything outside of those realms requires some heavy thinking. I'm not sure what exactly... Continue reading

The last year I've really fallen off my DIY game. Working a full time job has meant learning to let go of the idea that I make and do everything. I just can't. But spring has my fingers itching to get crafting, planting, and just plain doing! Here's a little... Continue reading

Can we just talk for a second about how we're already in April? Not only in April, but we've already flown past Easter, and are right smack dab in the middle already. Really. This year is literally just flying by me. It's exciting, and also completely terrifying. On one hand,... Continue reading

I am completely and totally giddy over the sunshine. My yard is filling up with flowers, trees are budding, and we're diving more and more into the season where daily walks are beautiful things that become an absolute necessity. Even starting off the week with a nasty cold wasn't half... Continue reading

(love this print by Allyson Johnson) I've been thinking a lot about how I'm determined to make 2015 my year of new habits. All those things I've wanted to make part of my everyday routine for years now, this is the year I'm determined to make those happen. Of course,... Continue reading

Free People Shirt, Jeans, Bra and Hat // H&M Scarf //Thrifted Boots My hopes of a snow-less March have officially been dashed. I can't complain about getting an unexpected snow day from work though, It's a rare and beautiful thing. A little extra time to catch up on things, get... Continue reading

Free People Overalls, Shirt, and Necklace // Target Boots // Hat made by my Mom My relationship with snow is definitely that of a love/hate nature. If I have to drive in it, especially if it hits unexpectedly while I'm at work and it takes me three hours to get... Continue reading

(A cupcake and cheesecake from Termini Bros) Philly is such a great city. It's literally packed with a ton of absolutely incredible restaurants, coffee houses, bakeries, and cafes. Not to mention the shopping, all the history of the city, and some really fun tourist attractions and parks. Even after living... Continue reading

I have to say, between the cold and the fact that it's usually dark when I leave for work and when I get home, I have been shying away from attempting any outfit photos for the blog. Transplant me to living somewhere warm and tropical and then we'll talk. But... Continue reading

So I thought I'd talk today about something totally different. I mentioned a few weeks ago about how one of my goals is getting back into exercising. I actually was doing pretty well with it before the holidays hit, but a combination of holiday insanity and getting a nasty cold... Continue reading

UO Dress + Cardigan // Free People Hat + Necklace // Target Socks // Thrifted Boots We've officially hit that quiet time of year, when fall is far gone, holidays are over, and the world is just cold. At least it is here. Not even a layer of snow to... Continue reading

One thing that has majorly changed since I went to work full time has been my eating habbits. Before, I was making dinner almost every night, and we ate at home for almost all our meals. Now, I'm lucky to be able to eat one meal at home on days... Continue reading

Even though it often feels that New Years goals are cliche and overdone, I still kind of love them! I'm all for making goals and getting starting any time of the year, and New Years goals feel so natural, that I can't count myself out of the millions making new... Continue reading

Hey There! Some of you may have noticed something funky going on over at my usual wesbite address. I won't bore you with the not so fun, and frankly frusting for me, details. In the end, my .com domain name is no longer mine any more, and I've just had... Continue reading

Thanksgiving for my family has mostly always been a pretty casual affair. I love that some families get all dressed up though, and I tend to shoot somewhere in between, personally. Casual, but still something fun and different. Although, I get dressy on a fairly regular basis for work, so... Continue reading
