Less than 48 hours before kickoff at Rutgers on Saturday and your Panthers have a new running back....for 2010. Former Syracuse and St. Thomas Aquinas running back Jeremiah Harden has transferred to FIU and will sit out this season, per NCAA transfer rules, and join the Panthers offense in 2010...
CJ, I think you're over reacting with the ticket situation. For the purpose of good business sense which you and everyone else is always touting, season ticket holders should and are getting the first crack at the tickets. I need to get five ( I have five season tickets.) Don't you think that if I was told that students who aren't paying as much as I am are getting tickets before me, I would be pissed? If I get pissed, I drop my five season tickets. Now FIU is out $500 Panther bucks. Follow me? Keep the season ticket holders happy.

As opposed to wasting it on Charleston Southern or FAMU? Thank god for having to play a divsion II program each year, if not you'd actually have to play 12 games a year. Don't think I'm advocating that FIU and UM play in football. I rather that they did not. Not for a couple of years.
