Wow how noble it is for old wealthy guys to contribute to a football team rather than donate the money to charity. These people would lock their car doors if they saw any of their hero players walking near by. Kind of peculiar but they get their thrill by donating a bunch of money and living off the sucess of these players. So much so that some of them would give money to high school kids just to go to their school.

I keep hoping to see you write a "thanks for the memories Orlando" column as you announce that you are moving into another line of work. Or perhaps like so many of your colleagues, that you are moving on to bigger and better things at some website I've never heard of and will never read. What do you think of my idea?

Why do sports writers these days try and become part of the story instead of reporting on it. Isn't Doyel a uf grad, explains alot right there. Doyel is a loser.

I don't think "fat baby" Davis tried to harm the kid. His act of gesturing to the fans and firing off four letter expletives towards the fans was pretty classy though. As was Doc Rivers running on to the court. The Celtics are a cheap team that plays dirty. The Magic will oust them in six games though.
