Rootage base their footwear around the concept of ‘onkochisin’ meaning ‘to learn from the past in order to develop new skills and knowledge’. Their mission is to highlight the exceptional quality of Japanese production and factories, which they’ve accomplished that pretty well. The quality and design is impeccable.
