It seems to me that at a minimum, the ambition to re-form the Caliphate should at least be taken seriously, so that Glenn Back's show can be deemed as "distant early warming" radar. That, in my opinion, makes him different from Joseph Welch and the John Birch Society. I am astonished and disappointed that Mr. Kristol would make such a charge, a way to anathemsize Mr. Beck and read him out of puclic discussion.
