From Barry Jackson @ the Herald
" Word from UM's staff is Brandon McGee, who has a key role as the third cornerback and was beaten too much in the spring game, must become more of a competitor and work harder for balls in the air. Several promising corners arrive at UM in June, including Latwan Anderson, but one -- highly regarded Jeremy Davis -- is at risk of not qualifying academically.
Best wishes to offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, recovering from triple bypass surgery last week. .
UM said it now expects Graig Cooper (knee) will play this season."

Cavaliers Able To Survive Hurricanes
The Virginia Cavaliers managed to survive a direct hit by the Miami Hurricanes this weekend as UVA took two of three games from UM at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field. The top ranked Cavaliers, who many experts believe to be the best team in college baseball in several years, simply had...
Wow, looks like the Cavs are about to loose. They always tighten up come playoff time. Right now they cant buy a shot!
Coach Mike Brown will be fired. Shaq will be traded, but LBJ will stay with Cleveland!
Shannon, UM Ink New Contract
University of Miami football fans have been wondering out loud over the last few months: "What is holding up the signing of head coach Randy Shannon to a multi-year contract extension?" In fact in a recent poll conducted here at Canespace 87% of the fans supported a contract extension for Shanno...
dont know if this was mentioned yet, but according to the Herald's Barry Jackson, the Canes are going hard after NW's QB Teddy Bridgewater!

Let The Sun Shine
Trivia Question: Since it's construction in 1987 which stadium has hosted five NFL Super Bowls, three NCAA National Championships (2001, '05, '09) , two MLB World Series (1997 and 2003) and a host of other major sports events and concerts? If you answered Joe Robbie Stadium, uh, I mean Sun Life ...
Forgot VT- they are intriguing, they could be really good again if their D is up to usual standards, but I'm not sure that it is, and as good as their RB's are, Tyrod strikes me as the guy who is still not good enough as a passer, which could hurt their offense. I'm waiting to see what they do in the fall before making any call on them.

J.W, you cant forget VT becuase everytime you think that this will be the year they show some drop off they end up being in contention for the ACC title at the end of the year.
Do they always fall short, yes. But until we beat them, we cant over look them.
The Good, The Bad And The Ugly: Part II
This article was written by DrewZ2 for Canespace... In Part II we will take a look at an overview of all "The Good" we can expect from this season. In my opinion, there is so much good that is going to happen this season that it would be impossible for me to include it all in this article, so I’...

UNC always seem to eek out a win against us.
GT will have revenge on their minds, much like the Canes against them
VT is always well coached and will be prepared
Pitt, imo, shouldnt be underestimated. They are an improving team. I picked them over Ohio State to beat the Canes because of Pryor. IMO, sucks! He scares no one!
I would love for this years Canes to go undefeated, but with this schedule, it will be hard for them to do so. I would be surprised if the Canes loose more than 2 games, though!

I am not going to give up on Orlando just yet. the magic was getting good looks, they just couldnt buy a bucket. That was as bad a shooting performance you will ever see.

The Hawks like the heat is a different team at home. you have to give the advantage to the hawks.
Heat 98, Hawks 72
Observations from Friday's 98-72 victory over the Hawks at AmericanAirlines Arena: Forget everything else, Sunday's Game 7 comes down to the simple question of which means more: Having homecourt advantage or having Dwyane Wade? Oh, and Dwyane looks plenty healthy now. The Heat is n...
