Well, actually, the legal team only had it incorrect because the person who alerted management had the song wrong. But, minor details. The day is once again decent now that Metric does not have any belongings to the spreading of ignorant and unjustified hatespeak.

That's typically viewed as a good reason NOT to do something...

Your unnecessary and random quoting of lyrics is annoying.

That's awesome. I introduced my dad to Carla Bley and he quickly asked me to turn it off :\

The forum's kinda dead right now too :P
Escalator Over The Hill is such brilliant work. I'm still trying to scrape up enough money to get the vinyls, and I feel awful that I've never heard it that way yet.

I'd assume it's pretty rare, considering 1. It was released before The Soft Skeleton was even a known thing and 2. I've checked eBay to see what Metric stuff I could find for about 2 years and I've never seen it come up. Granted, that means I couldn't tell you how much it would go for, but the rare Metric CD's (Static Anonymity, Cut In Half, and Life On The Clock) all usually go for anywhere between $150 and $200.

Oh, I wasn't saying they went commercial. I just said they changed. I feel the same way you do :P
Tahra's just kind of slow a bit now.
The forum! We're like a strange, indie internet family that hasn't got much of a way to create a new generation since about 80% of us are gay :P
They already did. You must not have been around for that long. But they're always changng, that's what they do.
Uh, I have all of Kylie Minogue's CD's and I've had the new Rihanna CD on repeat for the last two weeks. I can't be a hipster because I have too much fun dancing around to pop music.
Uh... We've already established that I'm gay. I think my going down on things is implied with that.
And I am apparently the cocksucker that blows the cock. For, without me, there would be no... Well, it would be inappropriate for me to talk about what that brings on a public forum.
Is that why your predictions were wrong? Gosh, I feel like I have a nemesis now. It's kinda fun :P
The interview is worth the 8 bucks on its own. Really lively and it's the first I've heard that really gets into Emily's writing process. Really inspiring. Plus, it's got that explosive ending to Twilight Galaxy, and a version of Eclipse that I finally like :P
Uh... No, I already bought it, and Empty's not acoustic. I can't say anything about HIA because it didn't get released correctly. But that's okay, you can keep being an ignorant twat.
Empty's not acoustic.
It would have rhymed if you spelled them correctly, too.
Emily said Metric would never record a Christmas song. Here is a video of Metric in crazy wigs performing along with the greatest Christmas song ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ef0hF1BJr6Y
