Weird. TypePad makes me log back in just to leave a comment. Stupid.

Great. Just what I need. Another impulse mug buy. Darn you, Wil Wheaton and capitalism! Also, Mug Dude is the new Cat Lady.

The only real thing of note from this episode is that the Anticans and Selayans become some of the few very humanoid species in any Trek series that don't look exactly like Humans with crap on their faces. The costumes aren't perfect, but they are probably the most ambitious until the Antedeans show up two years later. (Do Armus and the Sheliak really count?)

I can't wait until she gets to compare notes on Datalore. Good golly Miss Molly is that episode the worst next to Shades of Grey. Evil twin? Only the CMO's kid knows what's up? Contractions? Really, contractions?

I should have prefaced that I knew it was a sequel, both now and then (no pun intended). It's just such a weird name for an episode, but then again, we get a binary number in the same season, so what do I know? (not much)

Amnesia of the Future: AUTOSUBSCRIB'D Wil, is there any explanation as to why the episode was called "The Naked Now?" I didn't understand it in 1987 and I'm more perplexed today.

Warning: This post has nothing to do with this thread. Please carry on. Wil: I recently discovered that I am blocked from following your Twitter account. I was following you until a few months ago. I hope the block was the result of an accident and not something that seemed to be coming from my account. Hope all is well. Getting myself a copy of the Memories book very soon. --@giromide

And casting totally nailed how you would look in 10 years... an Edo reject. I don't recall where "Too Short A Season" falls relative to "Hide & Q," but I'll just assume TNG couldn't afford to throw any Westmore's Magical Aging Elixir onto you.

Here's hoping you can squeak in the audition. Your description of the material excites me.

One and the same. I hate to repeat myself on teh internets, but I felt like that twisted stroke of genius needed a second home. Count me in on Memories of the Future, by the way.

Without "Justice," you wouldn't have any Custodian/Edo God slashfic. It's weird.

NICE FIND! I was rather found of the more epic ABC intro that meant a Bond flick was about to start. And of course there's always the HBO intro that was just SO FREAKIN' AWESOME it had its own documentary. I also liked the freaky vector-animated Mickey Mouse that Disney used in the early 80s. They should bring that one back.

This is the alternate universe Wesley I wanted to see in "Parallels." Blue-eyed Data? Big deal. Bad-ass Wesley stepping on ensigns' necks? Hell yeah!

I say we knock down one of these bad boys every year or so. I'll be sure my head is shaved in 2013 for my awesome new barcode tattoo. I can't wait for at least one of those wondrous dystopian futures I read about to come to fruition.

I forgot that R2's head and Vader's cape were wrong. It makes me think they either couldn't quite match them to spec or that the designs had changed while they were making them.
