Wow, great story. Love how she is so comfortable in the kitchen. Too many kids are clueless. Great job Mom!

Thank you for including me in your list. I think this is a really fun way to get to know people. I am however going to cheat and give you this link to my previous post on my 7 things. http://www.thewholegang.org/2009/03/7-things-you-may-not-know-about-me/ The newest thing to add to my list is I moved my blog to a new server and I'm using WordPress Thesis theme. I love it. So easy and so many things I can do. I totally agree with your #6. Our list is almost identical. I however don't run and have not been skiing or boating in 20 years but use to. So glad your son made it home with you! Thank you for sharing.

Jessie- let me know what you put into your pesto. So versatile. Alisa- Thank you. Rachel- Thank you for the compliment. I hope you will try some of the recipes and then let me know how it worked for you. I love feedback. Wendy- Usually my kitchen is a mess. My poor husband cleans up and asks if there was anything I didn't use or space of counter top I didn't dirty. He's a good man. Linda- I love pesto too. I miss the cheese sometimes but the more I make it with different ingredients the less I even notice it's not in there. Heather-Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. Dianne- Thank you! Brian- Let me know if you do try it. I'll look for it on your blog. Sea- Thank you. I'm honored that you adopted me. Can't wait to see what you make. I think changing out the shrimp for Tempeh is a great idea. I'll pass that along to my oldest son who is a vegetarian. Love your blog!

Alisa- Thanks for sharing this info on your site. Patty- My son usually has "that fish" once a week. Jamie- Let me know if you find the minis. Be careful, they're good.

Sleep Better Tips- first let me say I love the info on foods that can help you sleep better. Kudos! Trying your recipe this week. Jenn- I have a hard time watching that show. He's so over the top but he knows his stuff about commercial kitchens. Thanks for sharing. Dianne- Thank you for sharing! Shirley- so glad you liked the video. I laugh my @*#!! off every time I watch it. I love stupid humor. Thank you for sharing your recipes! Celiac Tips- I love that we get lots of different blogs sharing. I'm sure you get tired of me and I love what people share. So cool. I hope Mr. Linky will cooperate for this week! Brian- Thank you for sharing!

Shirley- I know, I'm so spoiled. We keep asking if we can write the car off as a medical expense, it helps me get my Vitamin D. Lets hope we get more of that great weather. Can't wait to see your photos. Silly me forgot my camera. I don't go anywhere without my camera.

Shirley- Now that's what I'm talking about. Know what your are eating! You go girl! Alisa- I love naturally dairy free and gluten free foods too. Rachel- Thanks for the idea with lemon and dill. Sounds great. It will be my lunch this week!

Linda- Enjoy! Erica- I had no idea they put soy in eggs. How do they do that? Bacon mayo sounds delish! Wendy- Do you have many farmers markets near you? Shirley- Buying organic eggs is good for you and our environment. Stuff Happens on the Discovery Channel with Bill Nye the Science Guy did a whole show on breakfast items and organic eggs and organic bacon were big help to the environment to choose over standard. Lucky you to get such great treats at your meetings. It sounds like you have a great support group. I've not frozen hard boiled eggs but I know you can. Use to buy them when I ran a kitchen in a restaurant. Maybe they'll be good for our airplane trip. I wonder how far we'll get across the country before they thaw. I like the speed breakfast idea. I may borrow that one. I make breakfast everymorning for my teen and hubby and sometimes that doesn't leave me much time to get ready before bus duty. Cool idea. Thanks for sharing!

Shirley, Ali and Alison- You are welcome. I really enjoy reading your blogs. Can't wait to meet up with you all at the conference. Robin Sue- You know about more markets in my area than I do. I'll check out the Amish market. I grew up outside of Lancaster PA and on a lot of Amish foods. Not sure how many are gluten free but I sure miss scrapple. I hope we get to meet up soon. Loved your stories on Lakeside cafe. I'll head there soon.

So many new products out. I do like Applegate so my teen may give this a try. I just posted 4 products we've recently tried on my blog today. Eating anything from outside your own safe kitchen can be like playing Russian Roulette. I have ended up sitting in many restaurants watching while my family ate. They have a little more wiggle room than I do. It makes you wonder about the restaurants with their gfree menus. I guess a conversation with the kitchen is the only way to find out if they know what they're talking about. So, what did you do with the meal with the roll and the roll?

Christy- Thank you for stopping by. I love helping people make the switch to living gluten free. It can be overwhelming and a helping hand along the way will take you far. I hope you'll come back for a visit.

Rachel- I hope you'll pass that garlic pizza recipe along for tomorrows Friday Foodie Fix. As for the coconut oil I can find it in my local Giant Food Store so it's not limited to health food stores. If you don't have it you can always substitute canola or olive oil. Wendy- Please do let me know how you like them and what you fill yours with. Thank you both for taking the time to comment.

Linda- I wonder if anyone can guess what edible plant that flower is attached to. I hope you have a great time with graduation. Such a busy and exciting time of life. Can't wait to see your garlic recipes. Courtney- Tomatillos are so easy to work with. Make sure you check to see that each one you pick at the grocery is in good shape and not just grab by the handfuls. Firm and great green or purple coloring.

Alisa- Many folks eat it without the Parmesan. I've not tried it because I can't have rice either. This is a dish I make for my family. Let me know if you try it without the cheese.

Rachel- I'm tempted too. Time to hit the grocery store and get baking again. Wendy- Isn't that Purely Decadent dreamy. It's too easy to eat it right from the container with a spoon. Linda- let me know if you made this. JoAnn- Yum, boysenberries are wonderful. Where do you find yours? Ali- well I didn't actually get it into a slice. Just fork fulls. I had to stop and take the photo. Alisa- get that husband in the kitchen cooking. This is a pie that really doesn't need much measuring or work. He can treat you. Hmmm, I think I'll share that with my husband. Let's see how long we wait for a pie. Thank you all for sharing!
