Hey I didn't take offense LOL! We try to simplify the gift giving to limiting gifts to 3 per child. Ian was so excited about the marble run! He saw the one that Annie's kids were playing with on her blog and has never forgotten it. It was his big gift as was Claire's stroller. We try to give a book and something else small too. This year I made quite a few presents for family. Lots of stockings, PJ pants, table runners, etc. Next year the making is definitely going to start earlier in the year and our activities will be narrowed down to just a few. Hope you had a great Christmas! Will you be updating the blog soon?

I love your side table/board for displaying your children's toys! I have been looking for something similar for awhile now for the same purpose. I love the compartments. Is it handmade?

Thank you Melanie and Jo for your kind responses. It took a lot of courage for me to write this post. We are moving forward in our healing everyday but it will always be a part of our family's story that we will never forget. Jo, I think it is amazing what you do for a living. It is wonderful nurses like you that make such a difficult time in a families life just a little easier. Thanks for all you do!
