Hi Everyone, hope you enjoyed the long weekend. I didnt get as much scrapping done as i would have liked, but it was a lovely break spending time with family. My layout today was using the new Kaisercraft Konstrukt range - very boyish of course, so i went hunting through my photos, naturally having two boys there were plenty of photos to pick from. My layout was made from using a white card background and the 6x6 paper pad from the Konstrukt range - it was really easy and i just thought wow, i could do a heap of different... Continue reading

Hi Girls, its been a couple of weeks since my last post, hope everyone is well and scrapping away merrily. I have drawn up a simple sketch for my layout, you just need to add some embellies in a cluster effect in one corner and a couple of stickers here and there and you're done. You may not be able to tell, but i used some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink to distress the edges of the cream patterned paper and the blue background paper - it just made the paper a little grungy and go with the crumpled aubergine... Hi Girls, hope you are all great and for those of you heading to the Escape this weekend I'm sure you are very excited, Sasha and the team have a great weekend planned for you with some fabbo classes. Enjoy. My sketch project this week i was lucky enough to use the October Afternoon range - Fly A Kite - this is my dear friend Jen and I's favourite companies, maybe that was a bit exaggerated because i am in love with the new Fancy Pants range now as well........a true addict. I enjoyed using the sticker sheet and making... Continue reading

Hi Everyone, i have a cute little easter basket that i have made for my neices to share with you and a layout. It is very simple but cute, and looks a little better than the purple cadbury box that these eggs came in. I used two of the Basic Grey Kioshi Papers - lilo & azami, and some ribbon. My layout is not a cutsey easter layout but very much for older children and boys in particular. The real challenge was to create a layout without any easter themed products, so i drew some easter bunny ears and a... Continue reading

Hi Girls, my assignment this week was to play with the new Basic Grey range, Green At Heart - i must say it is so colourful and especially suits cutsey little girl pages. The range comes with heaps of embellishments and patterned papers, so many to pick from......aaaagh the tough choices we have to make. :-) On my first layout i used the whole packet of Bloomers to decorate the tree, extravagant I know, but it looks so good. You may notice the pink doilie layered on the pink background, to enhance this and make it stand out a little... Continue reading

My project this week was to check out one of the latest trends in our world of scrapbooking, and it didnt take me long to decide what i wanted to talk about and use, Glimmer Mist of course. :-) Glimmer Mist is quick, easy and fun to use. It adds a fine mist of sparkle and shine to your projects. The hardest problem i had was knowing when to stop spraying, warning... it can become addictive. Naturally, the easiest and quickest way to use is to spray your paper/card, coat your chipboard, spray your flowers - fabric and paper for... Continue reading
