...... regardless of stated reasons, people who dislike Obama and say he is not qualified are in large part the people who liked our last President, defend his wars Solomon I couldn't disagree more. I hated W. and hate Obama, probably because I see the same man. I do agree with this. .....her qualifications start and end with her being "not Obama".... I also agree with this! Obamas qualifications start and end with him being "Not W." Simply put, if W. hadn't screwed the nation, Obama would be a more qualified Senator.

This is a funny letter! Mic blames the conservatives for contesting the legality of Obamacare. And then brings the unconstitutional Kelo VS. New England decision into the conversation. The Kelo case and Obamacare are similiar in that both are pushed by Democrats and both are unconstitutional regardless of any decision. GG you got it all wrong, conservatives are for States rights over Federal government and personal rights over both.

Actually congress is getting close to the coverage we private citizens get, they see what Dr. they want. The real question here is why didn't the Democrats repeal the congress plan and get the plan they were sticking the taxpayer in? Hell Obama himself refused the plan for himself and his family during an interview.
In another life Tracy Leonard was a vulture.

I'm somewhat shocked this man has lived for 100yrs and has no idea what significance the Boston Tea Party had on his freedoms he didn't earn. His age has certainly surpassed his education.

Well, Wilson and Wild, it appears that Liberals such as yourselves are pushing a bill that would allow law enforcement to pull you over if they SUSPECT you aren't wearing a seatbelt. Kansas has already passed this bill. I personally write the MO. law makers letting them know my position on creating a "The Show me Police State" which was the title of my letter a few years ago in the Star. If you are to naive to understand what I'm writing then you need try to understand this statement "Driving while black"! Now Wilson I have a question for you. "Why don't we just do away with insurance requirements and driving licenses while we are at it." What is relative about seatbelt laws with Insurance or licensing?? Also "They are there for a reason and they protect more than just the people in a single car. What more do they protect than the people in the car??

The project innocence program just celebrated the release of the longest imprisoned victim. It was found that a man was innocent (through DNA) served 30yrs for a crime he never committed. What a shame it wasn't wilbur60.

Hey GG I'm gonna give you one! The ignorance amongst the left is incredible. First, it's "Iranian" and "doofus," doofus. Kevin Groenhagen The U.S. also did not illegally invade its neighbor, which ultimately led to those resolutiosn. Kevin Groenhagen It's resolutions, dumbass!!!!

Gary apparently you have never read the info Kevin directed me to. This information wasn't new news to me it was simply humourous he wanted me to read something that would bite him in the ass. W. was not incorrect when addressing congress and explaining he had information that Iraq was searching for uranium in Niger. The information was considered accurate until 2 days before the U.S. invaded. It was discovered and I quote. "IAEA Chairman Mohammed ElBaradei later reported to the U.N. Security Council that the papers alleging an Iraq-Niger uranium connection had been demonstrated to be fraudulent" Gary you either mis-read the material or you were just to lazy to read it at all.

"Now you want me to read Robert F. Turner's book to explain why it was legal to invade Iraq?" No Kevin, I didn't ask you to read anything, except the constitution in an earlier post. I'm sure you like reading other peoples opinions about subject's, considering you haven't the brain to conjure an opinion of your own. Are you going to guide me to another persons book so they can explain how I am rude to you?

He was asked if he could cut $50B from the budget and he relied "we’re bringing in about $2 trillion and spending nearly $4 trillion, so $50 billion is not enough to scratch the surface Rand is already planning a $500B in spending cuts but at least $100B. He realizes the U.S. borrows almost 50% of what it spends and we are headed for bancruptcy. Democrats will fight this tooth and nail.

Beaker I don't want the U.S. to laydown arms. Hell I don't believe in downsizing our nukes. I do know that Iraq is not where we should be today. People we have a war on terrorism we need to concentrate on, not wasting our military knocking off dictators who pose no threat to the U.S. and nation rebuilding we can't afford.

So Kevin has come to grips that the UNSC voted down the invasion. Also I would like to thank you for the data you supplied me that explained W. knew the CIA's intelligence was false before invading Iraq. Now you want me to read Robert F. Turner's book to explain why it was legal to invade Iraq? Sorry, I'm not interested in some guys opinion of a war. I could pull a multitude of books explaining the opposite. All I have to read is the constitution. Kevin, have you figured out how Sadaam helped Oliver North sleep better?

The guy in the front seat of the accident I was in lost his life, the girl next to me broke her hip/pelvis in 4 places+jaw+shin, the girl in front of me broke her ribs/collarbone and scarring on her face and neck and they were wearing their seatbelts. I walked away with a few cuts and a headache and needed me to pull them from the wreck. What do you say there Wilbur?

Toggle Commented Jan 13, 2011 on WMDs in KC area at Unfettered Letters
Of course, there are no UNSC resolutions calling on the U.S. to destroy its WMD. The U.S. also did not illegally invade its neighbor, which ultimately led to those resolutiosn Kevin Groenhagen A majority of the U.N. Security Council members supported its proposed 18th resolution which gave Iraq a deadline to comply with previous resolutions, until France announced that they would veto any new resolution that gave Iraq a deadline. However, for a resolution to pass, a supermajority of 9 out of 15 votes are needed. Only four countries announced they would support a resolution backing the war. resolutiosn? What a hypocrite???

I would expect that if they are so strongly against government-run health care then they will refuse the health care provided to them at the expense of the American people. Dennis Parker Well Dennis congress can refuse the healthcare system they are given, but you cannot! See a difference dummy??? I have a better idea for all of congress who voted for the Obamacare. How about those in congress who voted for Obamacare drop there congress healthcare plan and get the same medical treatment they want for you Dennis? In fact president Obama refused to accept Obamacare for he and his family during an interview! I understand you don't mind that you are forced into a government plan, but why are you insisting other people be forced into a plan against their will??? Sounds pretty liberal to me! OOOPS
