i am so glad to see that you have added the dog to your family. there is a reason he ended up with your family and i can sense his feeling of happiness to have found you. he is totally smiling in that picture. i am an animal nurse, so it warms my heart when i see or hear about people taking in animals who otherwise would not have a home. you are awesome, mama!!

i LOVE your blog! it's so inspiring and colorful! i first found it because it was linked to a thread on mothering about farming blogs. i've been reading your blog ever since, and just now joined type pad. i am so obsessed with learning to spin! i am taking a class series on spinning at my local yarn shop beginning in june. i also found "the sweater workshop" book that you posted about several blogs ago. i've barely cracked the book, but my hope is that i'll be knitting sweaters soon! in the meantime, i'm going to love watching as you knit your very own sweater up from the beautiful yarn you spun :)
