I'm out of words. I'm quite angry that you are actually proposing this. I spend a fair amount of time arguing with newbie programmers who over allocate and do not pay attention to memory simply because "they can". They obviously have no clue that their machine represents absolutely nothing close to reality, and as a result they write terrible code that you should be hanged for.
Your approach encourages this. I hate this blog post. Sorry.
