That is one fabulous video. I'm such a Patrick Stewart fan, it's true. Thank you for sharing your memories of working with him...so clear, so visible in the mind's eye. Nicely wrought!

That is fan-frickin-tastic. I may just go ahead and favorite that on YouTube.

As others have, I've spent the day watching the TNG marathon on Sci-Fi. Good times, my man, good times.

gorramit, and here I was looking for a post about an actual lava lamp. See, I bought one the other day as an excuse for a school project, and now I'm obsessed. Obsessed, I tell you. Seriously, what is life without a lava lampe? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fo-BsmVPAic

House of Leaves: don't be afraid. Well, be afraid, but not because of the book's size. Some pages have only one word, if that. Fear comes from the feeling that, after reading the book, you'll never look at your house the same way again.

Agreed, Heath Ledger FTW, without being headover for the rest of the flick. But that just makes me question...I mean, it seems fairly obvious that they were setting up for a sequel involving the Joker, but now...who can top Ledger? Seriously? I wouldn't want to go there. I don't know anything about sinus infucktions. Here: have a cookie and call me in the morning. *mwah*

I would love to go. I'm a lot closer to it now than I ever was before. I wonder if I could get the husband to drive us three hours in the wrong direction towards home....

I love that Dr. Horrible is getting around so well. Seems half of my blog's flist has commented on its awesomeness. And I had no idea that NPH could sing (though I just heard that he was in some version of Rent awhile back? I need to get out from under my rock more).

Holy cow, memory lane! I think it was through GEnie that I first fell in love. Or something like that.

I'll bet that every writer who reads the first part of this post (including myself) will say, "Oh yeah. Been there. Done that. Ate the manual." Ah, but there's always the bright side for ya....at least you get PAID to write. :)

*snickers* Everyone grabs for a copy of your book except Stephen Hawking. And he simply *nods*. Spot on! Hy-larious!

I had no idea that show had a following. Really. I caught one episode of it completely at random, and my first and only impression at first and since has been "wtf?" Seeing you on there turned that into "wtfbbq?" with a lol for good measure, so I guess it ain't all bad. Pet the kitty!

Since everyone's having so much fun posting about their horrid experiences, I'll chime in with mine. But I'll make it short and not-so-sweet. Beck. Drunk 20-something behind me. Beer in my hair. FABULOUS!
