Harris got to the FT line though. Rose doesn't. Its pretty unbelievable a quick guard like Rose can shoot 20+ FGs and shoot around 50% but get so few FT attempts. I don't know how to rationalize that.

Raptors 111, Heat 103
Observations from Wednesday's 111-103 loss to the Raptors at Air Canada Centre: The injury absence of Michael Beasley in the second half showed just how fragile this production is. There is a reason why there has been a season-long dance with .500. How much more can Erik Spoelstra ask of Dwya...

ASK IRA: Is Amare a better fit than Bosh?
Q: Do you think Amare would be a better fit alongside Wade than Bosh? -- Chris. A: No. I think there are too many red flags with Stoudemire health-wise and I'm not sure he'd be as willing as Bosh to play center. But, then again, Chris might not be available. If it was as simple as taking one or ...
Why is Alston in the game? I don't get it.

I think the Heat should get Amare simply because he's bigger stonger his career average is better than bosh and the rebounds is better and he can stick Dwight Howard Marc Gasol whos coming up and Shaq Bosh is to skinny to stick the big center but the only thing i question is can Amare stay heathly? We know Bosh can.And to add on Amare he's a better defender defense wins RINGS and rings gets you CHAMPIONHIPS

you don't just install some random "new system" to start a season.
Larry Brown trades the players who don't fit his system and don't play the others (basically rookies/young players).
Phil is playing the triangle regardless of who's on the team.
The Heat is a defense 1st org under Riley regardless of who's on the roster.

Bucher twitter:
On Amare: 7-8 teams interested. Not Cavs, which makes sense: Amare/Shaq didn't work in Phx, Amare not a stretch 4, doesn't play D, etc.
Chalmers and Beasley and contrasting views
So, let's see, Michael Beasley doesn't play during crunch time in Monday's one-point loss to the Cavaliers, and the following day, coach Erik Spoelstra offers, "You know how we do things here: It's about winning. It's about winning, period. And everything else falls under that." Yet Mario Chalme...
JB, what I'm saying is Riley tacitly endorses it.
Del Negro was going to Hinrich down the stretch @ one point last year and the Bulls GM nipped that in the bud.
Even if Spo is the most insane coach that consistently believes in Hasle, Haslem, Haslem, one word from Riley would change that.

Absolutely nothing will change unless Riley decrees it. Problem is Haslem is everything Riley loves, it's Charles Oakley and PJ Brown all over again.
Anybody waiting for Wade to come out against Haslem who he's been in the trenches with his whole career is crazy. Wade and Beasley don't have that personal relationship....he's 7 years older and Beasley's been here only 1 year for God's sake. That doesn't mean he "hates" Beasley.
You trade Haslem(for value)or Riley/Spo decree that Beasley finishes games. Wade cares about winning, and as long as Riley and Spo send out signals that they believe Haslem offers the best chance at that, Wade's gonna roll with it.
Wade is part of the machine, he passed to Haslem 3 times, Haslem hits 3 jumpers, in the flow of the game he's good.
Riley is supposed to be above the situation. In game, Wade doesn't realise the team only scored 6 points in the last 6 minutes, all that's a blur of possessions.
It's Riley, I've been saying it for 2 years. He built the roster, and regardless of what he says, he at the very least makes strong "suggestions" to Spo on how it's supposed to run in game.

I'm not prepared to watch Beasley run up and down with the Suns
Cavaliers 92, Heat 91
Observations from Monday's 92-91 loss to the Cavaliers at AmericanAirlines Arena: The second quarter was as riveting one-on-one as you can get during five-on-five, with LeBron James scoring 20 in the period and Dwyane Wade 17. James' 20 points tied Eddie House and Jamal Crawford for the most ...

Beasley just needs to get PT down the stretch in games where he's CLEARLY effective.
The "offense" isn't perfect, but it runs fairly smoothly with options on the floor...basically the entire game before the last 6 mins last night.

On offense, yes. But he let shaq get his way. Heat should double team shaq with our pg coming for a steal.. ..I will take my chances with anthony parker taking perimeter shots..

I'm the opposite. I rather let Shaq get his than Parker or Boobie raining bombs from deep
