80 years after the repeal of Prohibition, we may be able to legally drink, but we are not free to choose what we drink. We still live in Prohibition's highly restrictive aftermath- A mess of ridiculous, state-by-state, anti-consumer, legislation that... Continue reading

Yesterday, I received an amazing offer from a company, let’s call them XAX Media. The people at this XAX Media were obviously all excited, so excited that they sent me a unpersonalized, unsolicited message about 2 wine movies they made... Continue reading

David, Thank you for taking the time to comment. I am not sure if I could have been any more satirical or silly in the post above, but I was trying to make some humor over the hoopla from last week. I have sincere admiration for the work you, Richard, and Bobby do / have done both on the floor and behind the scenes. Jon is a great writer and voice for wine (CA and beyond). I know you are busting your ass. I just am not sure I could have been any more ridiculous- In a single post I referenced both Cocoon and Kool Keith ;) That's got to trigger something there. Best of luck w/ St. Vincent. I hope to check it out in the future. All the best, Hardy

Does your winery's digital strategy look and taste like this? A digital sales channel should not be centered around a dumping ground where you liquidate wines that you can not sell direct to consumer or via traditional distribution channels. I... Continue reading
