OMG! I voted for 65 entries! I would have voted for 3 more but they had blended colors and shading... which was not allowed... :( Too bad... they were VERY VERY nice! Hopefully everyone else will vote based on the rules and not give in to the over-powering urge to chose them!

I'm having such a hard time voting... the images show up and then go blank. I can't "choose" any... :(

How do I vote?!?!? :D Link is just to the photo of the entries... ;)

Everyone who is voting... PLEASE make sure that you know that the instructions were to be printed on the yard of fabric AND make sure to vote for ones that will actually work as an apron! One was only 12x13!!!!!!

Thank you! I've actually noticed the failed link in other contests... like the apron one!!! #38 sewn_apron by fabulosa1984 http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/266438

Why am I NOT able to see the winning fabric's Spoonflower page? I noticed that there are several fabrics that when you click on them it takes you back to the home page and NOT the fabric page. NOT FAIR to remain private pages...

OMG! I voted for 23 of these! ! ! ! ! Too bad some people don't know how to ask for help in figuring out a contest theme... Could have had WAY more voted for!!!!!!

I like the design... but I'm such a stickler for contest themes... it wasn't "tiki" themed so I didn't vote for it... sorry.

I really thought this was a cute puppet! I'm glad it won! I AM disappointed in where my design ended up in the vote... :( The birds on a wire (NOT A PUPPET) got the SAME number of votes for this puppet contest as I did... I'm kind of... make that extremely bummed... Maybe I shouldn't enter contests anymore..... *sigh*

I am so frustrated... I made an elephant puppet and uploaded it for the contest last night, or so I thought... It didn't upload... :-( Now I can't enter it into the contest... :-(

This was a pretty big pattern... Very nice looking! One of the top 10 was actually not a tessellation, but was very pretty. I LOVE THE CONTESTS!

Oh darn... I can't buy it yet! "This design is not yet for sale, but send XXXXXXXX a message if you'd like to buy it." Hurry up folks & make your fabrics available for sale!!!

Several entries are not a Tessellation... But I did love the entries enough to want to purchase one for use even though it isn't a tessellation... : ) When voting, please take into consideration the definition of TESSELLATION: •A repeated pattern of a geometric figure that will completely cover a surface. •a design of repeating shapes that fit together without gaps or overlaps. •a repeating pattern of distinct shapes •An arrangement of plane figures (usually congruent figures) to cover a surface without overlapping or leaving any gaps.

I agree with you Tara... I think that those who "filled" a digital image with watercolor, while the design is cute, didn't actually follow the requirements... Also, those who took digital images or photographs and used the "watercolor effect" in a software program to make the image look 'watercolor-y' didn't follow the requirements either. I'd also like to be sent a message, if I've entered a contest, with how many votes I got even if I didn't win. That way I know if my designs are liked by the community... : )

I have used clipart... But I always manipulate the design so that it becomes my own. I DO NOT, however, enter those manipulated clipart designs into contests. I think that if I win a contest, I want it to be ALL MINE... Not someone else who had the original idea. ('Cute Elephant' and 'Elephant Rush' are my only clipart designs used as of today)

I am a little frustrated that people are entering designs into these contests that don't meet the entry requirements... This "Watercolor" contest has photos that have been manipulated by Photoshop and digital graphics. The last contest "Gardens" hada TON of entries that didn't have anything that made you think "Hmm, that's a garden theme"... I LOVE these contests, but when I go to vote, I have to flip past so many that aren't the theme, it gets a little annoying...
