@African Nomad, I am not entirely sure where you hold and I could be way off but I think you (and myself for that matter) are barking up the wrong tree. If I could just use a metaphor: When Haiti got its independence, it fought against the institution of slavery. Not just that they don't wanna be slaves, they don't like the idea of slavery on anyone. When many other Blacks got their independence (black folks or black countries) they took on slaves for themselves. In other words, they were not against slavery per se, they just didn't want to be slaves. In the same token, I think what I am seeing here is that this group (not sure yet how to define "this group" republicans? right wingers? not sure yet) they are not happy with Islam and Muslim take over -on that I agree with them. Yet, I am beginning to realize /suspect that its not just that these people think its wrong or hurtful and should not be per se; I think its more like 'better we were on the winning side and they be our dhimmi/low ones/ones on the run for their lives-even if we end up invading other's lands, or make "Africa better" (look at all the good we did for them! etc.) and so on. In other words, its a war between perhaps two evils. Those on the side of good, goodness, justice, truth, faith and Godliness may have to ally with them, perhaps hold our noses when the ally's own evils are blatant. The true and real "good army" will have to be grassroots folks with no real affiliation to any institution or political affiliation -so I am not sure where to find them and how connect with them. But that is what I am seeing...

OMG! This is absolutely wrong. And frustrating. I'm sorry this jihad problem is big. Bigger than just republican vs democrats. And unfortunately, the terrorists have no problems defying borders, using new strategies etc. I think Obama is worse than any republican would have been in dealing with this situation, but at some point we have to get pass all this and realize its a people to people problem. (though electing republicans may be a step in the right direction!) One "good" thing this whole terrorist problem has revealed is that the face of evil is not black or white. Its an ideological war. No longer can we say the "whites" are the problem. But at the same time black racial profiling has left America open to any "nice, white looking Arab" to infiltrate the land. I suspect that victory can only come when people defy the governments of their land, band together, use any means necessary to promote justice and peace. These terrorists are evil, and they look for the "evilness" in whatever land to exploit it, entering through that portal, and ruining whatever place they've entered. We need only to look at their own land to see what the result of their take over will be. I hope those Black Africans (shouldn't we be saying Africans and White Africans? How did the Black ones become the anomaly that needed descriptive foreword) know that they will be next wherever the whites go (i.e. being killed ) If I looked at it as a political situation. Islam would be most equal to communism. Where every one is lowly, on the same level, except a few elites. Enormous trade offs for whatever little extras anyone wants, etc. This may work for the very determined -like the kibbutz program in Israel- but long term its not sustaining. Even the kibbutz had the aim of just helping people get on their feet and then disband. How can a land, any land, go backwards? Going from capitalism or even socialism TO communistic ruling is ...weird. (Now to sound really strange: At times I wonder if what's really happening is the evil of Muslims -terrorism combined with the evil of Edom/Christians -those who don't really believe but are really greedy: the greedy corporate type ravaging countries are combining with the evil of Jewish people- the government officials who are willing to give land even though they know full well land for peace is bogus. A menage a troi ready to choke the people!)

This is so sad. Granted I didn't watch the whole thing --too disgusting, but the parts that I saw the girls didn't seem to be protesting. Maybe they were drugged and I didn't see that part. Also it didn't show the man's face. but I did see the whole thing. The sad thing is that alot of people who are wary about this growing Sharia/Muslim/terrorist problem, I suspect, are usually racists -coverts and overts, and own very popular blogs. Fine, whatever. It just makes me sad that most of the world can't seem to wake up to the problem partly because they suspect another group (the Muslims) is being chased down to be persecuted yet again. And so they close their eyes to the evidence presented by the (seemingly) covert and overt racists. I don't mean to present a problem bli solutions. I remember when I lived in my old neighborhood, which was mostly Puerto Ricans, the area became "hot property". The suburbanites wised up and decided they wanted to be in the city and the poor folks need to be in the suburbs. And so, the police came in. Everyone was getting harrassed. The cops stopped kids on their way home from school, tried to conduct illegal searches (probably to plant drugs, or whatever), made everyone feel like a criminal, they basically made things hard for everyone there. Slowly slowly property value went up as the PR left and the white folks moved in. My family stayed. I remember this white guy who would always pass our house looked with gapping eyes that we had a beautiful lawn! He couldn't believe a black family could produce such a nice lawn. He would ask us over and over who was our gardener. Anyway the point I'm trying to make is: Maybe I'm brainwashed, but I totally believe there is a growing menace to the world which is the angry Muslim. I am also bummed out that the few places I can go to to hear the latest, commiserate, hopefully get to the stage of action/retaliation in regards to this is at sites where folks make fun of Obama -even at the most insignificant thing that he does- seemingly angry at his personhood, his very being. Then I can't quite be sure what the motive is. Perhaps its just republican vs democrats and I'm so out of touch w/politics that I'm not aware... Anyway, I'll try to ignore those posts and read re: the terrorism. Although I think at some point grassroots people action--reverse-guerrilla warfare??-- may be needed. lol.

Also, As the free press/speech goes out the window, I guess I may as well stop or begin the process of weening myself away from wikipedia and all those good inventions that rely on the good will of others to distribute information.

Hi Pamela, Please, do you know if the Mufti introduced the imagery of the swastika to Hitler (may his name be erased!)? I have a suspicion that he did but not sure. Thank you so much for this and for everything.
