As of 10th March 2013, Seven Magazine will be changing thier colour profile to be printed according to the PSR SC Plus V2 gravure standard. Moving to a PSR standard will help advertisers to produce files within specification, as it is a known and well documented standard. Last week a few publications changed their specs. Boat International have changed the spec sizes for several publications, while Mail on Sundays Inspire Magazine has changed both sizes and colour profiles. It is now working to a PSR_LWC_PLUS_V2_PT ICC Profile, just like You Magazine! As well as this, the Mail Plus ipad static ad specs have been altered slightly to accomodate a new full screen size of 681 x 924 pixels (240mm Wide x 316mm Deep). Last month, Mail Newspapers launched it's Mail Plus application on Amazon's Kindle Fire and Fire HD, with the iPad version following last week. This enhanced tablet publication brings together editorial and commercial content from the Mail Newspapers print titles. Today we have launched a new system for PAYG Specle Customers to pay for uploading ads. Customers on Specle Studio plans are not affected. At the point of delivery you will be prompted to enter a debit or credit card. Once you have entered your card details, payment is taken and the ad is delivered. A receipt is then emailed to you shortly afterwards. You can also save card details if you plan to deliver more ads. Specle have introduced a new easy way for our customers to pay. We've installed a credit card engine to the site, allowing our pay-as-you-go customers to pay by debit or credit card at the point of delivery. This is a more familiar method, inline with most other web based services. The new payment screen appears just before your ad is sent to the publisher. Pick Me Up, TV Times and TV Easy have all changed their ICC colour profiles this week. Pick Me Up now has a self-cover so the cover & text section profiles are the same, the PSR_SC_PLUS_V2_PT profile. The text sections of the TV Times & TV Easy are now printed on 51gsm UPM Cote (special grade LWC) paper, so the profile has changed to PSO LWC Standard (ECI) (FOGRA46L).
