Oh, LOVE it!
Hi, friend. Just wanted to pop in and say *hello*. I love the new stuff!
The Fall Collection
In a store near you! At least I can hope...Let me know if you have a Sis Boom Sighting. Where's Waldo?
You look so great!! I'm excited to *meet* the newest little. I'm certain she'll be as beautiful as her two older sisters.
p.s. I want the puj tub SOOO bad! And I'm not even pregnant! ;)
14 Days and Counting
I'm pregnant, did you hear? Because apparently not everybody has. I was told by three people over the weekend that they had no idea I was expecting. And honestly, even though I am due in two weeks, sometimes it catches me off guard to think that I am about to have a baby. And since I am lucky...

Oh Morgan, I am so very sorry. You are in my prayers, my sweet friend.
She's gone....
That's my Aunt Cheryl, 3rd to the right. She's beautiful, isn't she? I love this picture (circa 1969-ish.) February 22, 1955- February 20, 2010
Be still my heart-- sweet angel boy. He couldn't be any more perfect! Good job, Mama. You sure make beautiful babies.
(((biggest hugs)))
So much to be thankful for...
Charlie Winslow Moore 8 lbs 2 oz. 21" long Born Wednesday, November 25th @ 10:03 p.m. We are all doing well & will post more on Monday. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! xo
I'm with everyone else: love, love, love, love, LOOOOOOOOVE the Ikea drawer organizers. We have them in every single dresser we own. Did I say I love them? L.O.V.E. them! ;)
As for names-- take this for what it's worth...which I assure you, is not much. As you very well know, we SUCK at naming. However, if we ever do have another baby our top choices are:
Boy-- Charlie (It was our top name last time too...just can't let it go to waste), Nash, or Jones (My Mom's maiden name.)
Girl-- Clare, Maggie, Lucy, Jane...
And knowing myself, when it comes down to it, I won't use any of them. ;)
Nesting & Naming
I think I'm nesting. Monday turned out to be a day of nearly 10 loads of laundry, (and for the record, I will jump for joy when the day comes that I don't have to pay $2.50 per load of laundry), washing & setting up the co-sleeper and washing the car seat & all the baby clothes. I'm still rec...
Eeeek! The last time I made a baby quilt I ended up going into labor within 24 hours. (Only mine was a 35 weeks. You're safe.) Morgs, I can't WAIT to *meet* the newest little Moore. And the quilt is oh so perfect.
xo~
Kim
I really shouldn't...
Hospital bag packed? Nope. Co-sleeper set up? Nah. Baby clothes washed? Fughettabout it. Car seat installed? um...No. I decided at 9:00 last night to start a quilt for the baby. With less than a week until my due-date I'm feeling like I should only be required to do things that fall into the '...
Hi Ms. T~
For some reason my emails to you keep bouncing back saying they are undeliverable. Just checking to see if you have any particular color preferences for the Posh Squash. Let me know and I'll send them right out. :)
All the best~
Kim
Semi Precious Creative Distractions
Do you love beads? And handmade jewelry? Uh-huh. Last Spring, Pam and Amy took me to The Santa Monica Flea Market. We had such high hopes for scoring great stuff. Well I did...they get to go there all the time! The weather was awful and kept away many of the good vendors. The only thing I bo...
*drool* I definitely wish you lived closer now! ;)
p.s. how cool is that apple peeler?? I must get one!
Apple-ing
Happy October! Oh, how I love October. Fall, it's finally, finally starting to feel (and smell!) like Fall. The temperature has dropped about 15 degrees and the air is cool and crisp. Apple season is in full-swing and I'm pulling out all the stops! Yesterday, Henry & I made a Caramel Apple Pie...
Eeek!! I'm so happy you like it, Natasja! THANK YOU!!!
Happy weekend~

September Kit Club
Aaaand...they're gone. All September club subscriptions have been sold. (Thank you!!!) I will be putting up the "leftovers" as soon as I can. Give me a holler with any questions.
EEK! These are my Mom's signature cookie. YUM! She calls them "fudge jumbles"...
Been thinkin' about you.
Killer Bars
I made these chocolate oatmeal bars for an event a few weeks ago. I got the recipe from a friend when we lived in Boston. I think they may originally hail from Betty Crocker...but I have the recipe hand written in an old recipe book that's 11+ years old, so one can't be too sure. Anyway- I don...
Thank you so much, Nancy! I'm so happy your friend loved her apron, and delighted to have you in the kit club!! It'll be lots of fun, I promise! :)
Happy weekend~

psssst
Kit club info is up. Feel free to take a look around and familiarize yourself with the new process. The debut kit will be posted in the shop at 10 p.m. EST tonight, September 1st. I REALLY hope you like. Let me know if you have any questions at all.
I <3 when I get these little giggles too. My hubs is known for his "henry-isms", and when one goes awry, I get the biggest chuckles.
He's Human After All
I love the little moments when beneath the exterior of the confident Ivy League business school graduate working in a midtown Manhattan high rise I see a glimpse of the college kid I fell in love with who always wore Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirts, Dirty Buc shoes, and his signature backwards U...
Sweet baby girl, oh my gosh, I want another!! Why do they have to grow so fast?!!
Enjoy!
If you need me this weekend, I'm hoping to be taking in a good novel while drinking a Pomegranate Punch from Smoothie King-- all POOLSIDE, of course. Yippee--it's Memorial Day weekend and summer is right around the corner. With the community pool now open and only 9 days of school left, the summ...
Gorgeous, ain't it?! You should be proud. :)
She so gets me!!
This wall speaks to me!! I just wanted to say thanks to Jona from Fabritopia for her love of color..I discovered this photo when I was on her blog the other day and it made me so happy!! When you see the Sis Boom fabrics all together it makes me swoon. Now if only every room in every house acr...
I don't think I've ever been compared to a homemade marshmallow before-- EVER! LOL I'll take that as a huge, fluffy compliment. :) And it's exactly the way I feel about you too, Love!! Isn't it funny how a silly little happenstance phone-call can get the wheels turning? So beautifully written, Eva...I love it all!
Wrapping Things Up With Thanks
Easter this year was really nice. I hate to be wrapping things up (as in delicately blown eggs, pretty holiday wreaths, vintage holiday books...and such) to store them away until next year so, instead... I think I'll blog our holiday wrap-up. You know, as in share some tidbits about our meal and...
(I don't know why it's posting as "hendrickskim"-- weird!)
Sweet lady, I have chills! And not from looking at all those icy pics...brrrrrrr!! I'm so grateful Rob made it home in one piece, and for you sharing your testimony of prayer. Love you!!
An "Ice-Day" to warm the winter blues
Siggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh--January has just never been my favorite time of year. Cold, dreary weather, packing away the holiday glitz, and those stupid New Year's resolution discussions to remind you of all the things you're not doing up to snuff. Seriously, for me I look forward to Va...
