Okay. The cable issues? I recommend these to keep them in one bundle: http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/62ec/ The power supply? I've noticed a bit of a problem with the standard 6 outlet strips. Half my power supplies are too bulky to fit in them and so I can only have a few at a time. (Not good.) I recommend a set of these: http://www.amazon.com/5-POWER-STRIP-ADAPTERS-LIBERATORS/dp/B000CRFOMK/ref=sr_1_8?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1283903458&sr=1-8 You can use them in more than one room, so if your child doesn't need all of them and you can use them, you can share them out. And, of course, the USB hub. I highly recommend this one: http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/usb-gadgets/e051/ Also, I agree with other posters who have said that an L shaped desk would be best. IKEA or even Walmart have them these days, just check sizes to make sure that the length of both parts will be big enough to suit your needs. You also may not need a docking station, depending on the brand of the laptop. Most laptops these days have ports on the side where you can easily connect a second monitor. And, as to the printer, you can go wireless as another poster suggested, but you don't need to buy a special printer. Belkin has an N router that comes with 2 USB ports, allowing you to plug in printers or external hard drives, and share these things among any system on your home network. (Just make sure that all your wireless using systems are wi-fi N capable, or have a driver upgrade that will allow the wi-fi card to use the N signal. If a system is under a year old, it should support N, but check before buying.)
Bee, I dunno about anyone else, but I only posted my blog because there's a reason I haven't re-added poor Kit to my accepted followers. I'm sick of spelling out details, so I blogged about it. No one really wants to click mine anyway...I usually only blog in the middle of the night and most of it makes no sense. It doesn't even make sense to me!
Yeah, delaying pain relief is definitely love. I don't know that I've ever loved anyone I was with enough to do that. On an unrelated note, go here to see why I haven't accepted your request on Twitter: http://thoughtsfromthehexzone.blogspot.com.
Kit, if any Muslim extremists had ever read your blog, you would have already pissed them off. So I don't think that your Mohammed picture is going to do all that much. I think you're safe ;-)

So...Does this mean Tom Cruise is going to leave the Scientology Church or what?

LOL, whoops! Sounds like the time I sent an ex-girlfriend an eCard for Valentine's Day. (I'm poor and she was out of state at the time. Don't judge me.) She went to send me one back that was *really* personal, and instead of sending it to me, she sent it to all 100+ people in her address book. I then got a horrified call from her and a bunch of catcalling e-mails from everyone she sent it to. It took me a couple of days to clean out my inbox after that!

Thanks for explaining why I don't get dates when I'm in Boston. Now I have to remember where I left my BFF from kindergarten so I can dig her up the next time I go to Boston.
Yep. Waiting on the married thing...Thanks for the incentive for that, folks!
