No! Suri's acting out? Who'd have guessed?
Suri’s acting out
Divorce, daddy’s absence is taking its toll on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter. It’s been months since Tom Cruise has seen daughter, Suri, and it seems it’s finally taking a toll on the six-year-old. Katie Holmes and Suri were walking home from school a couple of weeks ago when NYC’s be...
Aw, c'mon. It's one thing to "love it or rate it" if a celebrity is on the red carpet or on some other official business but to put their clothing choices under the microscope 24/7 is a bit much.
Jessica was just leaving a hotel, not doing some kind of publicity for it. Who among us has not worn something less than haute couture in public at some time in the last month?
Love it or rate it: Jessica Alba
A pregnant Jessica Alba left her hotel in New York City wearing athletic pants, a black tank top and a striped sheer cover-up. Daughter Honor Warren was dressed to the nines in a princess costume. Love it or rate it? MORE LOVE IT OR RATE IT IMAGES > Love it or rate it?customer surveys
I think tonight I'll run out and rent "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels".
Sorry, Steve. I couldn't resist. I really hope that things turn out OK with this. You seem like you're a really warm person under your phoney phoneyness character you play so often. Best of luck!
Steve Martin swindled out of $850,000 in art scam
According to German police, American actor, comedian, and novelist Steve Martin can add another item to his resume: victim of fraud. In 2004, police say Martin unknowingly purchased a fake copy of Heinrich Campendonk's Landscape With Horses for 700,000 euros (the equivalent of $850,000) in wh...
Agreed, Beatrx. Wikipedia says yhe oldest is Ticul, Mexico founded in 700 BC.
Numbers aside, the attraction listed are just fine, if you're into those sorts of things. I was born in Montreal and lived there for more than 45 years and you're missing the point if you don't buy a coffee and sit on a bench and just people watch. Or take a walk downtown or through Old Montreal. Have a beer on Bishop or Crescent Streets. Now if you want to take "quebec Rocks" a little more literally, go to Montreal's Jazz Festival or the Francofolies.
I don't mean to exclude Quebec City but I only visited there a few times.
What's Rock-n-Roll and French all over?
Plain and simple, Quebec is the rockstar of Canada. It’s gorgeous, talented, unique, and loves to party. The adjectives are endless, the acclaim is deserved, and the reputation infamous. Although I have spent time in Quebec, I realized while writing this story how much I don’t know about this ...
@ troll patrol: You're probably correct about the author's name...it seems as though it's a play on the word "chiaroscuro", a type of low-key dramatic lighting in paintings, photography, and cinema.
Charlie’s Mother's Day Vocabulary Lesson
The former actor taught his twins a few choice words about their mom. Hey, everyone! Did you all have a happy Mother’s Day? A little gift, perhaps a few flowers. Some lunch. A card with a couple of heartfelt words about how much you appreciate everything she’s done for you. You’re lovely c...
The article states that "Charlie told TMZ...". Now did Charlie really say these things to the twins or was this Charlie just taking a jab at his ex? I'm not condoning him using the media to insult Brooke Mueller but there's a huge difference between that and actually teaching two-year-olds that their mother is an addict.

@ anon & Lana:
I tend to agree with you so long as the police are going after actual dangerous driving infractions and not every engine rev and tire chirp.
The same type of stake-outs could be held targeting a different bar or strip joint every night. Why establishments that serve primarily alcoholic beverages are allowed to have parking lots is beyond me...the rush of watching an action flick wears off much quicker than the effects of alcohol.
Quebec Police to Target 'Fast Five' Screenings
Attention all Vin Diesel fans heading out to see Fast Five this weekend: watch out for cops (or, ideally, don't drive wrecklessly in the first place and you won't have to worry about the police). According to the Ottawa Sun, the Gatineau Police will station 5 to 10 officers at 2 popular movi...
I wonder if the honour of trying to write "POM Wonderful Presents The Greatest Movie Ever Sold" in the limited number of spaces on forms will be worth the $25,000 to the the residents.
Small Pennsylvania Town Renamed After Morgan Spurlock Documentary
Employees at Google Maps will have a slightly busier day than usual on April 27th. That's when the town of Altoona, Pennsylvania will be renamed "POM Wonderful Presents The Greatest Movie Ever Sold," which also happens to be the title of an upcoming film by Morgan Spurlock, director of Super S...
*Yawn*
Most bizzare pre-game warm up... ever
Donning a cap and going for a swim. Flinging around a frisbee. Conducting the crowd as if it was a symphony orchestra. Reading the newspaper. Waltzing with the ref. Attempting to limbo. And this was all before the game even started. With a description like that, you're probably thinking I'm des...
I agree, Axiom. Besides, there have been pitching machines for decades that throw the ball along a much flatter trajectory. This "robot" has to be guided by humans to get it in position and it doesn't pick up or grasp the ball. There's no mention of it detrmining the range and location of the target or aiming on its own...the CD chager in my car is more robotic than this.
The Coming Robot Apocalypse: Sports Edition
We all know that the world is on a collision course with destruction. Depending on your belief system, this will either manifest in the form of a robot or zombie apocalypse. The zombievangelicals will have you believe that a mysterious virus or, even more inexplicably, supernatural forces will ...

Absolutely correct, Kathy. Well said.
Oh Unhappy Day for Justin
Bieber's visit to the Holy Land is sullied by shutterbugs. All Justin Bieber wanted was “a chance to walk where Jesus did” without the paparazzi getting in the way, prompting the pop-star pilgrim to vent his frustrations on Twitter yesterday. Biebs is in Tel Aviv for a performance this week, ...
@ yan: If Bieber wanted privacy, he should have bailed earier in his career. It's the same people that attend his concerts and buy his music that create the demand for the photos that he finds a being the subject of an imposition. It's the money from the publc's attention that paid for his trip to Israel to perform for his fans. Without the fans' interest, he would be just another kid hoping Tim Horton's would get back to him about his summer job application. Besides, he should consider himself lucky even if he stays in the hotel...who's to say that Jesus never trod on the grounds upon which the hotel was built?
Message to the next hot personality about to make his/her big break: If you want to preserve your privacy, either (a) find another line of work, (b) never release personal information or images of yourself and never perfom on stage, or (c) hire a theatrical make-up artist and slip out of the hotel incognito between shows.

@Mom: No microscope required...this is being seen with the unaided eye.
Another Late Night For Suri
TomKat take their irritable daughter out on the town. I’m no kid (except at heart), but I sure love my sleep — probably because I don’t get enough of it. It seems I’m not alone in that department, as Suri Cruise was spotted late yesterday night with parents Tom and Katie in New York. The diff...
