Hi Stampers, This past weekend my July Paper Pumpkin kit came in the mail - just in time for a little Sunday crafting!! This month's kit included items to make cards and gift boxes!! Too Cute!! I have a quick tip for you to help with putting the cards together.... The "WISH" part of the cards are die cut letters. To help with the placement of the letters - and keep my spacing good I simply laid the sheet with the letters above the area I was working so I had a guide for the spacing between each letter. If... Hi Stampers, Stampin' Up!'s annual convention will be kicking off tonight w/a fun party! I didn't get to go this year - a little bummed!! - BUT some of my team members are there - so I'll get to keep up with some of the fun through them! Of course every year - even if I can't go - I give my convention goers a small gift for taking the time out to go lean at convention! I usually do a bag tag of some sort - there's lots of the same bags walking around at the convention center and... Continue reading

Hi Stampers! Happy 4th of July!! I hope you're all enjoying your day with Friends and Family! The weather in St. Louis is fabulous (that's a treat for us on July 4th) This patriotic card is another project from last month's Stamp Camp! I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest by Tami. I changed up the direction of the card and the size of the flag a bit from her card. This is a GREAT card idea if you do cards for soliders - you could also change up to a Birthday Greeting for a 4th of... Continue reading

Hi Stampers, I've got on more project to share featuring the June Paper Pumpkin kit. We created these favor package bows at Stamp Camp last Saturday using the items from the kit We used the paper squares that were cut for the pinwheels and trimmed away the top and bottom triangle section. Then you bring the four points down toward the center and adhere them with the Mini Glue Dots from the kit. Trim on one of the scraps to make a 3/4" x 2-1/2" strip of paper and wrap around the bow to make the center and cover the... Continue reading

Hi Stampers, We made this star card at last Saturday's Stamp Camp! I was inspired by a star card in the SU catalog and changed up the colors and stamp set a bit to suite my tastes It's REALLY simple to create shape cards with Framelits Dies - you just cut two of the same shape - score one abou a 1/2" - 3/4" from the top, apply Fast Fuse Adhesive above the score line and attach the two together - and that's it!! You can use the Envelope Punch board to create a 5-1/2" square envelope for this card... Continue reading

Hi Stampers!! The 2014-15 Stampin' Up! catalogs are in the house!!! :) I love getting the new Idea Book and this year's catalog is packed FULL of fun very very CASEable project and inspiration. (CASE=Copy and Share Everything) but I years ago I decided I needed to make one small alteration to my catalog to make it easier to use. I spiral bind it - it's makes it so nice and easy to lay the book on my work table open to the idea that I'm trying to duplicate or alter! And it's become a tradition for me to offer... Hi Stampers, Here's a look at some of the projects I've been sharing in this month's workshops! One of my favorite stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog is the Happy Watercolor set. I love that with a few quick stamps you get a look of watercolor painted images! The tag was one of the make 'n takes that also featured the Perfect Pennant and Petite Petals stamp sets. We used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch for the top of the tag and tied a bit of Cruched Curry Chevron ribbon onto the top of the tag. The other make 'n... Continue reading
