Hi Stampers, I love the Birthday greeting in the Painter's Palette stamp set! For this card I added a little "artistic flair" by stamping the brush strokes randomly down the side of Whisper White card stock. I wasn't sure of the color combo when I started but I think it's now one of my FAVORITES! Sweet Sugar Plum, Perfect Plum, and Blushing Bride are a trendy but soft color combo! I added just a hint of Wink of Stella to the balloon to give it a sparkle. Continue reading

Hi Stampers! I LOVE a pretty ombré background on a card! The Layering Love stamp set is a perfect compliment to this beautiful technique! For this card I used Peekaboo Peach, Tangerine Tango, Flirty Flamingo, and Watermelon Wonder. I wet down a piece of Watercolor Paper and then used the Aqua Painter to brush on the ink, working my way down the paper strip and blending the colors together. I love the way the banner came out! I punched the bottom with the Banner Triple Punch and topped the banner with a Bow clip. I kept most of the card... Continue reading

Hi Stampers! Today I'm sharing a card using the Watercolor Block Background technique. This card was inspired by one created by Cindy Schuster. (Thanks for the inspiration Cindy!!) Pineapples are super Trendy right now - they're all over everything - clothes, decor, so why not your Paper Crafting projects! I used the new Pineapple stamp for the focal point on this card. I happened to be doing a little Psych binge watching last week while I was getting ready for Stamp Camp last week - so I kept having a little laugh at the find the pineapple moments as I... Hi Stampers, One of my "Must Have" sets from the Spring catalog was the Friends & Flowers set. I love fish go the cute little punched out fishy caught my eye right away! But for our Stamp Camp last weekend I was working on Spring or Easter themed cards so I decided to create a card using the Bunny from the set. A lot of the stampers were going to add a Happy Easter greeting to this card - but I went with a Congratulations greeting from Balloon Celebrations - I think this is a great card for a Baby... Hi Stampers, Recently Mom had a Tea Party to attend. They were all supposed to bring along a favorite tea to share - Mom's favorite Tea is Vanilla Almond from Republic of Tea. We though it would be fun to dress up the team bags in a little take home favor bag. So I pulled out the A Nice Cuppa stamp set and cordinating framelits. We stamped and die cut the tea cups with a "You're Tea-riffic" greeting on the cups. A perfect addition to our cello bags stapled shut and tied with ribbon. One of the reasons Mom loves... Hi Stampers, Last weekend was my monthly stamp camp. Two of the cards we created were inspired by a Global Design Project Sketch #gdp014. The first one uses the Bloomin' Love stamp set for the second one I changed up the size to a note card and we used the Saleabration set What I Love (which you can earn free with a $50.00 order) I also added a little bling to the center of the flower with Wink of Stella. I love using sketches as a jumping off point for creating a card - it's much better than staring at... Continue reading

Hi Stampers, I needed a few Thank You cards and I was itching to play with the new Wink of Stella Glitter Brush so I made up a few of these cards using Grateful Bunch and the Sale-a-bration set Flowering Fields. It's hard to get a good picture of the pretty Wink of Stella - you can see in this close up that I applied it to the flower petals after coloring them - but it's much less "shiny" and much more glittery in person. I LOVE IT! (And for all my fellow Firefly fans out there you'll understand that... Continue reading
