There will be a Rondo'ing tonight.
Doc: The guys are agitated
"We had a good film session [Tuesday] and guys were disappointed with the way we played in Game 4," said Rivers. "They thought, as poorly as we played, in our eyes, we still had a shot to win the game in regulation. When you gift a gifted team 18 turnovers -- 28 points [off turnovers] -- in the...
I knew from the last minutes of the 4th that Boston is gonna lose if the head into OT. They were so exhausted, it wasn't funny. Still, I would have bet money on them making the final play and winning it at the buzzer. Oh well. I am not sure if they can win this series, but I am almost 100% sure that they will win on Wednesday. No way they are going down in 5.
Recap: Season on the brink after C's run out of gas in OT
The Celtics barely had enough gas in the tank for 48 minutes of basketball. When the last play of the fourth quarter unfolded in no way, shape, or form that Doc Rivers drew it up, Paul Pierce managed to get a fadeaway jumper off that bounced off the rim. The miss was deadly. The Celtics re...
Thanks, always good to read something well written yet positive.

10 reasons why the Celtics will win Game 3
You want optimism... but you don't just want it from some bleed-green die-hards who can spit-shine a turd and find a way to be happy about it. You want it from a person with a pedigree. With basketball knowledge that, amazingly, surpasses even my own (hey.. stop laughing). Well, you got it. ...
Word, Celtics are far from done. And honestly, the game could still have gone either way in the last quarter and what the Celtics did wrong (or sub par) had nothing at all to do with being "too old". I actually think they lost those two game mentally more than anything else and veteran teams usually bounce back from those kinds of losses.
Why are people acting like this was a 2 game sweep?
On one side we have a young powerhouse. Feared for the ability to crush an opponent with a barrage of almost unprecendented power. On the other we have the aging former champ. Prime? That passed years ago. All that's left is a veteran savvy... and hopefully that will be enough. It is the e...
there will be a reckoning, Celtics by double digits on Tue.
Taking Stock: C's - Heat Game 1
After each game, we'll be taking stock in each players... and maybe coach's... performance. If we like what we see, we're buyin'. If we don't, we're sellin'. Or maybe we'll just hold onto our stock until we see more next game Ray Allen: Early on Ray Allen was the only guy who could hit a...
I'm so used to seeing the Celtics getting into their opponents heads it really feels unreal to see it reversed like that. Still, I think they will now crush the Heat on Tuesday to save face.
Your Morning Dump... Pierce should have known better
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. It was an appalling development for the team captain and supposed leader, who, instead of helping Boston scratch back from a...
I love how every single Celtics player had at least 5 rebounds.
Recap: Celtics complete mercy kill of Knicks
Three days ago, the world was wondering what was wrong with the Celtics? They were a team of aging veterans lucky to have survived the first two games of their playoff series with NY. They certainly don't look like championship contenders, said the impulsive and ill-informed. Seventy-two hou...
Awesome! This is exactly the content (edited pre-/post-game video) that I've been missing out on with League Pass.
CSNNE Game Story: C's take Game 1
This is one of the new features in our partnership with Comcast Sports Net. For those of you out of town or at the game and you didn't get to see CSNNE's coverage of the game... of if you just want to re-live it. Here's Game Story... which takes you from pre-game to post-game.
