I would definitely pick the mailbox moving cards. I always like to keep up with people and I've sent moving/address cards before. They're so very cute!

I like the Adult women's Sparkle tee and the Camo Sparkle tee the best. So nice!

I can't laugh, because I know exactly what you mean. I was wrong to think I'd have much time to do reading all on its own with a baby in my home. I appreciate your ideas and have already taken some of them up. Here's to finding more "stolen time" to read!
I have to agree with Monica - that is wonderful news and reminds us how very much God cares about even the seemingly small things. I am sure you will be able to find a beautiful pair of white shoes that will match perfectly! Have fun singing! I think that's pretty cool! :-)

well, when I saw "lullaby music" in your description on Rocks in my Dryer's website on WFMW, I had to check out which one you were talking about. I have this same CD and I love it, too! I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my first child and I listen to this music pretty much every night when I go to bed. It's been good for me to rest and allow God to speak peace over my life and over baby as I'm waiting to meet him. God has brought that verse to my mind many times as things have developed that make me want to worry. But, God is so good. I'm so glad the CD has been an encouragement to you and I wholeheartedly agree that it is one of the most precious and wonderful CD's of music I have! Thanks for sharing about it!

I particularly needed to be reminded of that first verse today. Thanks, Michelle!

did you notice what the vendor said - I could hardly believe he put it this way - "It should be enticing enough to provoke questions: 'What's that you're wearing?' " Hobbs said. "Then you take that opportunity to speak of your faith. They've opened the door, and now they're going to get it." Now they're going to get it??? That's kind of sad to me. It's like we're trying to trick them into asking us about our faith and then hitting them upside the face with it!

girl, this is the first time I've been able to see your beautiful toile' header - it is gorgeous! I hope typepad will work out better for you, too. I'm still with blogger, but we'll see.
Gotta love that picture - it really speaks volumes for you here. I'm so sorry you weren't able to go on your much- awaited and -anticipated trip - that is pretty cruddy. And not only to miss it, but be sick on top of it. May God return you back to full good health and lift your grumpy countenance. :-)

Happy Birthday, Adam! # 16 was awesome! - snacks are the best! Have so much fun with your mom and dad at the Lion King; I'm sure you'll love seeing it "in person" on the stage. :-)

I have to admit that I have lived months at a time in the blahs and doldrums. Going through those times, I was always reminded that God is still in those times with me, too. How could we get up everyday, feeling blah and still manage to take care of what needs to be done if He wasn't with us? I think these times our faith can really grow stronger because we can learn that God REALLY is with us in everything (not just the worst and the best) and wants to perfect us in every aspect of our lives - even in the seemingly mundane, blahsy, doldrummy times. Hang in there, girl and keep finding Him in these times. It's exactly what He wants us to do. Thanks for the words of encouragement from the Psalms, too. What a precious thought! Gotta love the picture, too! :-) You mean you don't spend your days in a billowing gown taking care of all the household chores and feeling and looking oh-so-feminine all the time?

I saw their concert in Tulsa with my husband on Valentine's Day. I had seen both "groups" in concert before, but this was the first time I got to hear "Brave" live. I talk about that song all the time - it seems to describe my life well or at least the way I want to live my life. I'm so glad you were able to go and had some incredible girl time, too. I can always count on one of my best girlfriends to join me at a good concert and we always have a blast! So long status quo, I think I just let go. You make me want to be Brave. The way it always was is no longer good enough. You make me want to be Brave. Live Brave!

that's such incredible imagery! i love how God sort of refers back to things that we're already familiar with to reveal truth to us. As I've been reading through the Old Testament, I can see how God used so many things to point to Jesus and then revealed them in Jesus' life and it's beautiful to me!

i have very few words - only tears. i love the hope and promise of renewal of Easter. thank you for reminding me that God's love for us does not change and that His purposes can be accomplished even when we fail and fall. i'm always so very encouraged by your words! celebrating Easter with you, Janine

that's an interesting thought - showing our scars. so many times I have tried to appear as if I have it all figured out and together and it's funny how it never seems to work out very well. if perfect Christ was willing to be wounded (and die) for my trangressions, who am I to act as if I am actually without sin? this is very humbling and you've got me thinking as nearly always when i read your blog. thanks for sharing this.

this is very beautiful and I was blessed to read this today and be reminded of its incredible truth. i am very thankful for what Christ says in verse 17 to Peter after his confession - "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven." I am thankful that God reveals the truth to us when we seek Him. thank you for sharing this with us!
