I ran into an unhealthy dose of that "it's popular so I hate it and you're an idiot for liking it" crap over on Reddit the other day. It was in a thread about The Big Bang Theory (and on the Star Trek subreddit, of all places).
I couldn't help but hear several of the more haughty posts in Sheldon's voice.
