We think it's a great feature that allows you to quickly suggest posts from the archives to your readers, but if you don't want to use the feature, that's up to you! Simply click on the header for the box on the Compose page to close it, & you won't see the recommendations pop-up when writing your posts.

Serge, did you know about the restore feature of the Rich Text editor? You can click the Restore Auto Save Content button in the Rich Text toolbar in the case of an issue where you lose your work, and we have more information on this here:

At the moment, we do not have any plans to incorporate Google's recipe tags into Typepad. We're focusing our resources on the transition to the new anti-spam service, improving commenting, and other features we're really excited to share. We'll consider adding Google's recipe tags in the future based on interest.
