Methinks it was "cock" and a translator who knew just enough to know that word had non-fowl connotations and tried to identify an alternative with a thesaurus. Or perhaps it's just potatoes served by a waiter with a bad attitude.
This has been bothering me all week, so I guess it's time to ask: What makes you think the ladies at Mustang Ranch lack integrity? Virtue perhaps, but integrity? Do they not provide the services they advertise at the prices they advertise? Do they water the drinks?
I dunno bro, given the crackpottery that is the Huffington Post's science and health "news" I'd have to say that the left has a pretty good set of loons as well. Homeopathy my ass.

Wouldn't that actually make the answers (D) Robert Bork and (C) Warren Burger? Pedantically yours, JB

I don't think I can agree with "clearly offside" on that goal. I've watched it from as many angles as I could find online and while he may have been a quarter step ahead of the defender to his right at the time the ball was played it was really very close. Short of looking over the shoulder of the AR on the field I don't think it's a bad call. Remember, the binding instruction issued prior to WC94 (still in force AFAIK, though it's not in the 2010-2011 interpretations of the Laws) is that if there is any doubt in the mind of the official as to whether or not the offense of offside has been committed they should NOT make the call.
I'm not sure I can agree with your conclusion. What's "uplifting and humanizing" about this? The couple in question appear to be lucky to have found an open-minded priest, unlike those in the 385,000 people, 120 parish and 47 school archdiocese of Denver. Not that I can understand why they'd WANT to send a kid to a school that will probably require all evening every school day to properly deprogram them from the day's indoctrination...
They can't even get the nuances of accents from within this country right. All the southerners (in just about everything, not just L&O) seem to have a "generic south" accent and you know as well as I that there is great variance in reality ... and you expect them to get it right for off-shore?

"I like good sportsmanship, but Ihope (sic) this doesn't become a trend:" Sorry bro, but bad haircuts seem to be fairly common regardless of the sport.

s/up/out/ - sigh, long day...
Nope. All they are interested in is a pic that they can send via MMS to folks to point up that "Hey, I'm here and you're not!" And... They weren't taking "photos" - they were taking "pictures"
A certain Lily Coyle certainly explains things to Robertson here: http://www.startribune.com/opinion/letters/81595442.html?elr=KArks7PYDiaK7DUqEiaDUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUU

Grammar and parts of speed be damned. It's literary and poetic license in this case. I recall/reference Nancy Dillard's rant regarding the non-Southern Prof who insisted on mangling Welty's title my expanding it to "Why I live at the post office." I thought you were supposed to be good at this internet thing?

According to a study performed in 2005, such helmets actually have an effect reverse from the intent: For all helmets, we noticed a 30 db amplification at 2.6 Ghz and a 20 db amplification at 1.2 Ghz, regardless of the position of the antenna on the cranium. In addition, all helmets exhibited a marked 20 db attenuation at around 1.5 Ghz, with no significant attenuation beyond 10 db anywhere else. ... It requires no stretch of the imagination to conclude that the current helmet craze is likely to have been propagated by the Government, possibly with the involvement of the FCC. We hope this report will encourage the paranoid community to develop improved helmet designs to avoid falling prey to these shortcomings

Randy, you omit two important facts: 1. Your middle name is not furrin-sounding and 2. You're not black.

Uh, do what exactly? Behave like an arrogant street punk who deserves the inevitable ass-whooping that he's due? I'm sure there are plenty of baseball and gridiron players who can pull that off.
