Should I compare, the lamb Alkis supervised looks much better than the baby goat. No offense intended! :-)

What is interesting about the two services is that, at the core, Amazon is a store while eBay is still Internet classified ads. This means that Amazon curates most of its content, which is new, and eBay manages mostly third-party buyers selling used products. However, both increasingly have third-party retailers selling new products in their services and Amazon increasingly has used options, suggesting that they are both increasingly competing for the same buy.

The next level of happiness, which tends to last a lot longer, is the feeling that you have a pleasant life. That kind of feeling comes from liking what you are doing and feeling good about your job. The most sustainable level of happiness is being able to feel like you are giving back to this world.

I am impressed, Anastasia. Your Green Monday dishes are a healthy alternative to what most of us Americans eat - like my favorite Triple Prime Bacon Cheddar Burger :-)

A Cuban, a Frenchman, an American, and an American lawyer are riding on a train. The Cuban begins praising one of his nation's most famous products. "In Cuba", he says, "we make the world's finest cigars. Just smell this beautiful hand-rolled cigar. Furthermore, we make them in such abundance that we can waste them with impunity". Saying that, he tosses the cigar out the window of the speeding train. The Frenchman responds, "Oui, that is quite true, and in my country we make the finest cheeses". He displays a hunk of fine cheese to the others and says, "France is famous for its fine cheeses, and we produce so much that we too can waste them without a thought." Saying that, he casts the cheese out the window of the train. The American gets up and throws the lawyer out the window.

On July 4th, the United States of America celebrates Independence Day. Picnics and barbecues have become 4th July traditions for two main reasons - the first being that summer is a lovely time to spend outdoors and the second being that picnics and barbecues are the easiest way to entertain a large number of people. Thanks for sharing your customs and traditions. Great read!

Doing things for others and rarely stopping to think about yourself, going above and beyond, like Grigori - that's heroism. As a kid, I saw the Disney characters in movies and thought of their great feats as something I would like to achieve someday. Then I realized as I grew up that I would always love the movies, but those weren’t the kind of heroic acts I hoped to do in my life. Heroism is leading and guiding the way, even in danger. It’s doing what’s right, even when no one is looking at you, or patting you on the back....

Dilemmas are often thought to be unresolvable situations, typically having equally abhorrant alternatives. In everyday affairs, however, one must not only face moral dilemmas but live through them by making moral choices.

San Diego, California's second-largest city, is often known as a laid-back beach-bum hangout. However, the city was dubbed the "newest cultural Mecca" in the United States by Travelocity due to the world-class museums, cultural events, and fine dining that co-exist with its miles of beaches and perpetually sunny weather. February is an ideal time to visit, as visitors will enjoy mild temperatures, several natural phenomenons, and a host of festivals. I can see that more or less Cypress shares the same weather in February. OK, I checked it out! :-) As for Valentine's Day, I agree that there is a universal need for love and emotional intimacy around the holidays, but why wouldn't people want this kind of treatment everyday, all year? Of course it is normal to want to feel as special as the next girl by having your man send you flowers for your desk too. Everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon and say they received something for Valentines Day, but the gifts are not the important thing - the love is. Some women would rather have a boyfriend on Valentines Day, and be single the rest of the year. How pathetic!

There was a very self-sufficient blind man, who did a lot of traveling alone. He was making his first trip to Texas and happened to be seated next to a Texan on the flight. The Texan spent a lot of time telling him how everything is bigger and better in Texas. By the time the blind man had reached his destination, a large resort hotel, he was very excited about being in Texas. The long trip had worn him out a little so he decided to stop at the bar for a small soda and a light snack before going up to his room to unpack his clothes. When the waitress set down his drink, it was in a huge mug. "Wow, I had heard everything in Texas is bigger," he told her. "That's right,"she replied. The blind man ate his snack and finished his drink. After drinking such a large amount, it was only natural his next stop was going to have to be the restroom. He asked the waitress for directions. She told him to turn left at the register and it would be the second door on the right. He reached the first door and continued down the hall. A few steps later he stumbled slightly and missed the second door altogether and ended up going through the 3rd door instead. Not realizing he had entered the swimming area he walked forward and immediately fell into the swimming pool. Remembering everything he had heard about things being bigger in Texas, as soon as he had his head above water he started shouting "Don't flush! Don't flush!"

London is easy to navigate. Each district has its own character and an Underground subway making it easy to get anywhere in the city. Red double-decker buses. Red phone booths. Pubs, such as the Fox and Hounds, with their colorful signs are some of the things I most love in London. Glad you and Alkis enjoyed your trip there. I love your pics! Alkis looks part of the wax figures!!! Great pose!! :-)

It has been a hectic, productive, and jam-packed year for me -one filled with both excitement and with sadness. For the last few days of the year, I hope that your holiday is filled with peace, family, and good times. Love you!
