For years now I've been of the opinion that Legos make the ultimate 'consumer grade' caltrops, particularly in the more plush varieties of carpet. Your collection of dice, however, seems like an excellent alternative! As I'm expecting my first child (at age 40 - go figure) early next year, I'll look forward to happy remembrances of bruised feet in years to come after late-night lego (and later D&D) sessions.
