While true dicks will ever remain dicks, I think Wheaton's Law helps all of us decent people suppress our inner dicks when they're considering dickish outbursts. Thanks for condensing all the fundamental rules of human decency into a catchy 4-word phrase, easy to remember, and easy to apply. Happy birthday, Wil.

I just finished listening to the Fuzzy Nation audiobook, and you did such a great job that I wish you could read everything. But you'd probably lose your voice, so maybe you should just start with your own stuff, and I will eagerly throw money at you to hear it. After hearing you read some of your work on JCCC2, I really wish you had more time for podcasts and reading your own writing - you immediately connect with your audience, and you're a wonderful storyteller.

It was totally Geek Summer Camp for Adults. Anne nailed it. Every time I wandered through the Casino or the Lido restaurant and bumped into grumpy, confused, polyestered Snorks, I felt like I was at that weird stuffy country club in Dirty Dancing where someone would try and teach me the foxtrot if I stood in one place too long. And then, instead of discovering a secret sexy dance party with the resort staff, I found a secret nerd karaoke night. And iPhone choir. And ukulele flash mob. And, now that I think of it, some secret sexy nerd dance parties.

Canadians love you back, Wil! :) You were so great when I finally had a chance to talk to you on the nerd boat that I'm *almost* sorry I helped your boy rationalize the drinking of your scotch on karaoke night.

Noooooooo! I was SO looking forward to WWAFNFUFFBNF! I beg you to reconsider! Maybe if you post something on the official JoCo cruise blog about it, more people would respond? As awesome as you are, it's possible that some poor souls are not yet subscribed to your blog.

I have no doubt that anything you choose to share with us will have us in either tears or giddy laughter, whichever your intent. I would be delighted to join you for WWAFNFUFFBNF, but I did buy a fabulous dress specifically for the formal dining formalities, so I *might* show up dressed to the nines anyway. If I knock it back to the eights, would that be ok? My husband will be in shorts, a Thinkgeek T-shirt, and a beard, so it'll all balance out in the end.
